This dagger is much longer than expected. Compared to my previous display tanto. Everything feels solid to me, but I'm worrying about getting this pretty thing dirty when it comes to usage.

quality does not match reputation or cost
I had high hopes given previous rep. of company, etc. very disappointed. as photos exhibit the blade and fittings don't fit the scabbard as the tsuba won't come flush with scabbard- as far as it goes. The end cap on the scabbard, I believe, is supposed to be attached...not so much. Sad, first time I have tried this company. Prob. last.

Not worth buying
I bought this to complete my warrior series set. That and they are hard to get now, is the only reason I didn’t return it for a refund. The scabbard end cap was loose in the box, and the hilt is loose and rattles. It’s embarrassing to show my functional sword set and it almost falls apart when inspected. I can tell Cold Steel cut quality corners when making them. I seen better swap meet/ mall tantos.

Good quality
I have not cut any ribs or chickens but the quality looks good and the blade rings like a bell. I wish they would do the clay tempering but that is not really important now.

Another winner!
Three for three! I picked up the Cold Steel Warrior-Series Katana last year from Amazon and was thoroughly-impressed. Having such a great experience, I purchased the Cold Steel Warrior-Series Wakizashi as a companion to the Katana earlier this year. It too was awesome. Both are very high quality, and very sharp right at of the box. Pushing my luck, but knowing Amazon would make it right if I got a dud, I ordered the companion Cold Steel Warrior-Series Tanto. Score! Same quality as the other two - great!

Not really worth the money
The sheath is not fit with the blade, quality is not good as I thought, blade not smooth.
