Fits like a glove and easy to install. Came with all the tools and directions to replace the battery in less than 1hr for someone who is not a computer tech. No issue when the job was done. Would recommend this product to anyone who needs a battery for a slightly older Macbook Pro.

There were so many choices, I went with this one. Came quickly and install was easy (came with tools) except for removing the old battery which is stuck on with two face tape. Just have to take your time, pry it slowly. You lift a little and wait for the glue to separate, then move a little and repeat. I charged to full then drained to 5%, I did this 3 times per the instructions. The battery lasts for hours, no issues so far. Picture is the new installed and my old one all swollen up. If you Mac doesn't sit flat on the table or touch pad is wonky, don't wait to replace the battery.

I installed the battery and took me about 1 hour. It came with installation instruction. If you feel that the instruction is not clear, you can find some videos from Youtube. But in some of the videos, they overcomplicated the removing battery part. Using the inbox shovel to remove the battery is not that hard and that's what I did. The only thing to keep in mind is to make sure you know where to put back the screws. I suggested that you record yourself when you are removing the screws.In terms of the battery itself, it seems working fine. It can last 4-5 hours after a full charge. I am happy about that. I have a 9 year old Macbook. I would be very satisfied if the battery can last for 3-4 years.

Worked well for 2 weeks getting 5 hrs. of laptop time before draining to 50%. Now battery drops to 8% within minutes of battery showing 48% charge. Too late to return for refund.

This was an excellent battery replacement kit for my Mac Pro. The tools just made it super easy to remove and install. I love the various replaceable heads on the torx screws as I had a screw that was a little strippe and using a bigger head allowed to easily remove it. I’ll update the review once I get a feel for battery life but nothing to complain in terms of quality of parts, packaging, and ease of install.

Ok replacement battery for MacBook Pro. This battery was fault easy to install and even though it came with tools I have my own since I do repairs for a living. The battery functions well enough and fit perfectly however I’m a bit concerned about its lifespan. I have never used my MacBook Pro with the original battery so I can’t really compare the length of time it lasts. But with normal usage it seems to die quickly or faster than I’d expect.

The best way to remove the old battery is by using dental floss. I ended up using around 15 strands of cotton dental floss to fully take out the old battery. After that, you’ll need to use acetone to clean off the remaining adhesive, which took me about 30 minutes.The installation manual included in the box doesn’t mention how to disconnect the battery connector, which I think is the only drawback. If you’re a beginner, you’ll need to look this step up on another website in order to detach the battery connector properly.After installing the new battery, don’t forget to recalibrate it.Overall, it’s great value for the price. My daughter has been really enjoying playing Minecraft on my mid-2015 MacBook Pro.
