Added this cover to my chimney, very easy to install with included hardware. Very sturdy and has survived many storms and kept up many critters.

Held up and remained stable through our recent storms and high wind events.

Great fit right out of the box. Also purchased the leg kit and they work perfect.

I recently moved into a new home which has two fireplaces. Only one of my chimney flues had a cover over it, so I knew I needed to get a second cover. I measured my flue and ordered this 9x13 cover.There was a plastic bag around the cover and no other protection within the box, but it came undamaged so it wasn't a big deal.There's a ledge within the bottom of the cover which you can rest the cover on while you tighten the screws. The screws were pointed at the ends which concerned me that they were not flat, but they secured the cover to the flue anyway.Having two flues side by side presented a bit of a challenge, as the tops of the covers were too close together. I lowered my old cover enough to be able to install the new one, but not so low as to restrict the ability for it to vent.The new cover is very secure and I don't imagine it'll budge or fly away anytime soon. I'm very happy with this product.

Only stopped by to ding a star for inconvenience because the vendor didn't include the mounting hardware in the box when it was supposed to be 'included'.Overall, the product does the job, and has a great price point.

I've had this for a few months and it's doing a great job. Where my house sits we have the brunt of the heavy winds. I didn't know this was even a thing, but it's doing great and now I don't have birds in my house. Win win

Great fit, as advertised.

No bells or whistles. Just the cap, four screws, and instruction. Build quality is good. Hardware was good. Instillation was very easy. Just installed so won’t know about longevity. Does the job. Very happy.

It was easy to install and fit the flue as advertised. The only thing that I was not optimal was the tip of the mounting screws which can penetrate the clay if tightened too much.

This chimney cap fit very well. It went on my flue, (standard size of 9" x 12"). It should last up there for years to come. Quite happy with it.

Purchased this cap to replace the existing one that looks like it been through a few hurricanes, run over by a truck and trampled by bears. Easy to install and fits our chimney cap well.

Good chimney cap, after installation I found a note the next day taped to the bottom of my front door, it read as follows..."Dear BenWhen we got home this morning we couldn't get past your chimney cap and we fear for the safety of our baby. You must hear here calling for us at the bottom of your chimney, by the fireplace door. Would you mind retrieving our kit and place him in the backyard by the deck so we can reconnect and relocate to a more appropriate home? Please and Thanks. Do you think you could unlock your garbage can for us or maybe leave out a tin or two of cat food, love ya....."Now this note seemed strange enough but what I really had a hard time believing was that a raccoon was able to find scotch tape to stick the note to the door. Wow, they really are crafty.Anyway I reunited the cuties and they are all fine.It's a beautiful day.
