Great value, higher capacity than OEM, and a 3-year warranty.
I purchased this battery to replace the original Samsung battery in a Verizon Galaxy S4. I enjoy playing a few games and the original Samsung battery got so bad that it had to be re-charged twice-a-day. This replacement battery fit the phone properly. As a bonus, the old OEM battery was rated at 2600mAh (9.88Wh at 3.6v) and this replacement is rated at 2900mAh. This replacement will run the phone longer than the OEM battery. Per the seller's instructions, when the new battery is installed, do not recharge it. The battery will arrive with a partial charge (my new battery was at 60%). The new battery should be allowed to fully discharge before you plug the phone in. After that, also per the seller's instructions, the battery should be fully discharged and re-charged 4 to 5 times to ensure the best performance. I tried to follow their instructions to the best of my ability. I allowed the battery power to drop to less than 5%. Then, using the Samsung charger that came with the phone (also seller's recommendation), I charged the battery to 100%. For the first 5 charges, I resisted the urge to plug the phone in before the battery was at less than 5% and always recharged to 100% before un-plugging the phone. This is supposed to "condition" the battery. The battery life got a little better from full charge #1 to charge #5.I've been using the new battery for about 2 weeks now. The phone is working perfectly. In my opinion, the new battery lasts longer than the original battery ever did. With my typical usage, I was usually down around 30% at the end of a typical day (when the OEM battery worked normally). With this new battery, I'm usually at around 60% at the end of the day. I believe that people who had trouble with this battery either had a bad phone or didn't follow the conditioning instructions provided by the seller.

It Fits My Favorite Phone
First impression is that it has a nice build quality. It also came with a nice surprise. It comes with a flat charging cable. I have never seen that with any battery I have ever bought so that was very nice. I put the battery into my Samsung S4 (ya I know I have an old phone and yes I love it so much that I don't really want to replace it) and plug in the charger. It still has 60% charge left from when they charged it at the factory. I think it will only take just a few minutes to fully charge it. My phone turns on fine and it works fine so far. So I'm a happy with this purchase. I just hope this doesn't end up like the battery I bought call Ravpower. That one worked fine until it swelled up and pop out the right side of my LCD screen. Unfortunately, the 12 month warranty was expired so I had no recourse to do anything about it. I Hope this helps in your quest to find a good battery for you phone at a reasonable price.

Solid Standard Replacement Battery
This is the second replacement battery I purchased for my Samsung Galaxy S4 (each previous battery lasted well over a year and a half) and it's of a higher quality than the standard replacement battery. It holds its charge better than the previous battery by draining about 40% slower. Overall, you'd be hard-pressed to find a more solid battery choice at this price. Finally, a short PSA:As with all batteries of this type, they tend to become unstable after about a year of extensive use, often "puffing up" as the battery's safety features kick in and contain the chemicals inside. If at all possible, DO NOT CHARGE a puffy battery as it strains the battery's already-compromised safety features and it could leak or explode causing irreparable damage to your phone. It's far easier to order a battery replacement and deal with a phone outage for a couple of days than to risk damaging your phone or home. This happens to any Lithium-Ion battery, not just those designed for these phones (my Nintendo 3DS battery puffed up and required replacement at one point too).

Mine is like 4 years old
So, both myself and my mother have Galaxy S4 phones. Mine is like 4 years old, hers is like 2 years old. I replaced my battery once a couple years ago with a genuine battery. It worked fine for these 2 years now. But, my mother was having issues with very little battery life. She was thinking of getting a new phone. I saw this battery had good reviews and was just $10! I got one for my mother a few weeks ago. She used it and said her phone lasts more than twice as long now! My battery was also getting a bit old and not holding charge as long as I liked. So, I figured for $10 I'd get one for myself too. I can say, wow, what a difference. When my phone used to be under 50%, I would think I had little to no time left and had to kind of be in a 'power save' mindset until I had a power source. Now, the battery drains more consistently, and, even under 50% I have tons of battery left! If you have a phone that uses this battery, give it a go! It's working great for me now and it was just $10! I will update my review in the future if this battery gives me problems, but, if it lasts even a year, I call that a great deal for $10 and it extended the life of my old phone!

Cheap battery, but works great
worked better than the original battery, but came with instructions on usage. Which is likely why it lasted so long. Would still have it but I lost my phone and could never find it. It was a very old phone, but good product and brand new battery.

Great battery, awesome price. Very satisfied.
I have had my S4 for 4 years. It's a good phone, and I refuse to upgrade to a newer version for $600-800+. Suddenly a few months ago it started dying really fast. Then about a month or so ago it began dying as soon as it dipped below 20%. My husband's phone had the same problem, so I got one for him as well. After this arrived, I followed the instructions to use it and drain it the first time then to fully charge and drain a few more times, and it's working great. I don't have to charge throughout the day unless I use it very excessively, and I know that even when I dip below 10% I've got plenty of time. It's very good and reliable. I just wish I would've listened to my husband and ordered us the new batteries sooner!
