A lot smaller than I imagined

I recently broke the smallest and most useful of a set of three Pyrex bowls that we have owned for many years. They are not easy to break, but the drop from a worktop to a quarry tile floor will do it. It only took us a few days to realise how much we missed it, so we ordered two replacements. The design is simple and elegant; the size is perfect for mixing small batches and microwave cooking.

I bought this from Amazon because I couldn't find the size I wanted in the shops. As expected, Pyrex is strong, lightweight and fit for purpose. I would recommend.

These bowls are made of Tough, clear glass and have many uses, hot and cold - just what you would expect from Pyrex. Decent value for money too.

It only gets 4 stars from me because bizarrely they have put the raised glass logo INSIDE the bowl at the bottom! !???!!This is (slightly) more difficult to get clean and the very flat bottom more likely to slip in some circumstances and less desirable..Why did they think this was a good idea?Otherwise reliable Pyrex quality.
