This license plate bracket is fabricated in the USA out of Steel and then Powder Coated Flat Black. Will require to drill through battery tray plastic but includes all hardware needed to mount Fender Eliminator as well as drill plate for drilling the holes. This Fender Eliminator will work on a 2009 - 2014 BMW S1000RR (DOES NOT WORK ON A 2015 BMW S1000RR). Does NOT include turn signals and license plate light or a place to mount them (Alternative is to install a integrated tail light/turn signal and LED license plate bolts). Warranted against defects in workmanship or materials for 1 year.

Worth every cent.
The short version: It's a high quality, low cost fender eliminator that anyone can install in fifteen minutes.(Unrelated, really.) So the S1000rr I have came with a fender eliminator that must have been installed by a trained monkey's pet dog. The holes tapped were all cracked and therefor allowed the nuts to pull through the plastic. By the time I got this, the license plate was hanging onto the bike for dear life by a single rapidly failing screw hole. On top of that, the rear end's mounting screw holes had been over tightened, snapping both left side screw holes. so realistically, my rear end is held on by two right side plastic clips, and has two massive holes in the bottom now. Awesome! So I ordered this eliminator in favor or the Competition Werks for two main reasons. One, this one is over a hundred dollars cheaper (after shipping) and B) it DOES NOT COME WITH ANY LIGHTING. Which is what I wanted, as I intend to install an integrated tail light, and I can simply remount the license plate light lower. The eliminator itself is simply two plates and four screws, two mounting, and two nylon plate holders. It's fitted to the bike, so all you have to do is lay in the inner player after removing the battery, drill through some plastic, push the outer plate (which has threaded bolts manufactured into it) through, tighten the included nuts down over the inner and you're done.PROS:Simple eliminator, no wires or fussing about.Sturdy! Doesn't move, period. Nice thick steel, matte black.Cheap, but high quality.Hand signed note! Seems like they actually pay attention. Will not come loose.CONS:No instructions. Now, I'm a newbie with modding bikes, so I had the stupid thing upside down. My bad. However, to be fair to myself, the inner plate sits 'perfectly' in the plastic upside down, so well it almost seems like that was the original idea.Additionally, the eliminator came with a hand signed note stating that they didn't have a detailed instruction process published yet, but encouraged sending them an e-mail with any questions. The only con being that I'm a rookie, anyone with the slight bit of mechanical inclination, can mount this thing. It only took my about 30 minutes flying blind. That's from staring at my bike to sitting on the couch, tools put away. If I’d done it before, maybe ten minute job. I’d have paid half again for this item. Will my own photos once Florida decides to not rain.

Mounts just fine; have to drill
Mounts sturdy. Great location. I don't run a fender guard, so don't know if it rubs. Hasn't moved in over a year and multiple launches on stretched S1000rr

Five Stars
Great product, but they really need to provide instructions. Not clear installing backing plate.
