The tales are wonderful but the artwork is mind blowing, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I can't stop staring at the illustrations and the font makes it easier to read than other books for those who have ADHD/dyslexia

Even though I already have the Kindle version, I bought this edition & I'm absolutely delighted with it! It's a beautiful hardcover book with a multitude of illustrations by an award-winning artist that, in my opinion, greatly enhance the text. It's a wonderful edition of an already terrific book & I was quite pleased to add it to my collection.

I've always loved fairy tales. When I was a child, I grew up reading all of the original Brothers Grimm and Andersen tales. I was excited when this book was released. It took less than an hour to read it, but I was NOT disappointed. They are written in an interesting style (quite different from Grimm or Andersen), but still very entertaining. I'm also happy to see that not all of them are "happy" tales. Some are just as strange, or even as dark, as original fairy tales. When I have children, I will be reading them stories from this book as well as the old classics.

I have been buying the new illustrated editions of Rowling's Harry Potter books as they are released. While the main books are nice to have in such editions, this book (and Fantastic Beasts) are especially suited to the new format.The book is a gorgeous, oversized volume with excellent production values. The cover is thick, with a different fabric on the spine than the cover and back. Unlike the illustrated novels, this has no dust jacket. Since its not a full novel, a larger font was used for the text. This works beautifully for these in-world children's stories, and fits with the many full page illustrations.Tye book has a good weight to it; it will hold up to rereading and reading with children. This is the kind of book that could easily become a family treasure to pass through generations - a work of art.

Beedle's tales are not exactly required reading for anyone other than PotterHeads, but this is a wonderful addition to the collection of any true fan. For instance, this is my third copy and I could not be happier.

Seems pretty thorough, my grandson loved it.

This and every other Harry Potter illustrated editions are amazing buys not only for returning fans who love the series but for parents who want to introduce thier young ones to the series (the pictures help i bet to keep them occupied and engaged with the story) and younger readers who love to see the characters they love. My gf is a huge potter fan and loves them we hope to share them with our little ones when we start on a family. The qualities of this book and the others are very good ive never had a bad hardbound book come from amazon.

I already own the Bloomsbury edition of this book. But yet i buy this. Because in this scholastic edition the illustrator is different. And his style is very different. So i bought this also. Quality is good. Packaging is good.
