K&N 33-2335 Replacement Air Filter, Heather Red

An absolute doddle to install on my 2L MX-5 NC. Don't expect miracles from this upgrade, but I can sense a slightly better throttle response, and the engine makes a slightly more growly noise which is nice. The engine seems a little punchier in the mid-range but that may just be male wishful thinking. Not cheap, but it will never have to be replaced so will save money in the long run. I like the fact that they include a sticker to out on the air box to remind the mechanic not to replace the filter.

What’s not to like. Paid for in two services and last for 100k miles.

Well made and has increased performance at the mid range of my 2.0l MX5.

a little more induction noise perhaps. maybe a little more mid range torque. The real benefit (cost) will be proved overtime as it needs cleaning rather than replacing.

This type of filter with its cleaning ideal for people who like there cars improves performance and saves petrol. It is the perfect recycling item.
