Really Interesting but Very Hard
I bought this game after playing it for a while. I really think the concept of the game is really great. A dancing superstar space news reporter? How can that go wrong? Especially the whole dancing part. I come from playing Parappa the Rappa and Um Jammer Lammy. I really love funky rhythm games. The real issue with this game is the difficulty. I would say I'm pretty good at video games and especially rhythm games since I was practically a music nerd in high school. The main problem is that there is eventually some really precise actions you need to execute or, in the case of boss fights, you get a set of actions that adds on the actions before it. Think Simon Says but Simon is some aliens. There is no, "Oh, you did alright on that move," No, you basically either get it or don't get it. Also, if you lose at any point during a level, you start over from the beginning. There is a coop mode you can play with a friend but that essentially puts you in a situation where both of you have to get things perfectly or you both lose. All in all, the game is interesting an funny but extremely difficult. If you are still drawn to the game for the style, perhaps playing it just for fun and not making a big deal out of failing would be best because you will probably mess up and lose a level a lot.

great games! I love them!
Yes, this is the North American Special Edition, so it comes with both discs. I've been playing part 2 since I was a kid and I love what this game is all about. Both games are pretty trippy. I had never played part 1 so when I tried it it was way harder than I expected. I don't remember part 2 being that hard. While both are great games and great fun to play, part 2 is definitely my favorite. It has more modes. But 2 games for the price of one? That's outta sight! Or whatever they said.. ;)

A Great Classic!!!
Space Channel 5... This is showing what kind of great, unique games were on the Dreamcast. This is a game back from when SEGA focused on making good games instead of trying to win over the Western gamers with crap like Iron Man and other movie games. I bought this game when browsing for a good, cheap PS2 game. Well, I came across this little gem and bought it ASAP because I actually found it NEW!Anyways, it was a great purchase and I just love these kinds of games. Parappa and Lammy both rule, and now, so does Ulala. Seriously, it's these games that caused the whole Guitar Hero and Rock Band fad. Check them out!

Weird, in a cool way!
Let me begin by saying that I am terrible at rhythm games. I was playing this when my room mate came in and started watching me. I was doing pretty bad on the first stage but just managed to squeak by. I asked him to try and he nearly perfect it on the first time through! In any case, its really fun and kind of off beat. If your looking for something original, look no further.

Help me Ulala!
Up Down Left Right - Cho Cho Cho.This game is just as fun as I remember it - and now my kids are improving their eye/hand coordination with great funky techno beats. They even dance to the music - and on rainy winter days, this is a must have for kids age 12 and under. Help me Ulala! Momma can't get enough.

Fun Old Timey Game
Fun game from my childhood. The original has a slight timing delay but once you notice it it's easy to play around. The second game is fun and plays flawlessly..
