The Art of Magic: The Gathering - Dominaria (6)

I love this series in general, but this one has the most striking (colorful, contrasting, and energetic) art, followed closely by Ixalan. It doesn't have the cool "behind the scenes" appendices the others do, but instead has more full spread (full page or even a few double page art pieces) than the others do. Highly recommend!

These are now simply manditory buys for me, been collecting them since the debut in Zendikar and I love each one, all of them arrive before estimated date of arrival and are of incredible quality. The Art of MTG is a selling point for the game for me and this book lets me see all the detail in full glory. Also, gives very in depth descriptions of the areas and peoples, cultures and characters of whatever Plane the book features.Only tiny tiny issue is that the Same small recap blurbs start each book. The same explanations of other planes, word for word recapped from each previous book. While I respect that for someone's first book, this doesn't matter in the slightest, seeing the same page in each of my art books is a bit unoriginal. But that is an insignificant gripe; these books are amazing and for me; they always fall into the "Here, Take My Money!" meme. I've wanted something like this since I first started playing in the late 90's.

Magic the Gathering is a great game and features some amazing art from some of the best fantasy artists in the world. These collections of the art never disappoint and should entertain both fans of the game and even those who don't play it but love good fantasy art and world building.The Dominaria volume contains a world that is closer to more traditional fantasy art than some of the other MtG worlds. As a player of the game from the original days, it helped to rekindle my interest and pick up the current version of the game. Lots to like in this one!

There is a lot to like about the lore presented in this art book. It looks beautiful and presents a lot of details for Dominaria. But note, it mostly details events surrounding the recent expansion of the same name. For example, there is very little about Otaria and the history and art of sets focused on that continent.

Dominaria is probably one of the MtG sets with the most colorful and beautiful art. Although MtG art is always one of it's strong points, in Dominaria they put a lot of effort and talent. This book, with full color art from the cards, it's a stunning compendium of the collection. Note specially the art of the Sagas, one of my favorite mechanics on the set.The book itself is sturdy, although mine came with a minor defect in one page, but overall a great purchase.

This is a beautiful book that is very well made. The pages are a very thick high quality material and the images are amazing. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Magic The Gathering or simply enjoys the artwork.

The book is beautiful with great illustrations. My son loved it and it arrived well packed and on time for christmas! Much better price than Barnes and Noble too!

Really wonderful. I expected art, ut was surprised to also see all the additional information about dominaria and all it's locations and inhabitants

Very good book. I bought it for my D&D campaing, and I am very satisfy, the lore on Dominaria is fabulous. only down side is the cover, it's not even the real cover, but more of a removable thin cover page on a solid green cover

Article conforme par contre colis arrivé défoncé en plus d'être un carton réutilisé. Heureusement qu'il était assez grand pour que le livre ne soit pas toucher mais j'ai eu peur de le recevoir en lambeau vu l'État du carton ....
