for MS Surface | Dock Your Surface up Next to a Monitor with VESA (Surface Pro 7 / Pro 6 / Pro 2017 / Pro 4, Basic + | Without Electronics, Without VESA arm/Mount)

I ordered this product for a Surface Pro 4. The quality of the product is very high and appears to be very durable. The wiring for the dock fits perfectly in place and the Surface fits well in the mount.Unfortunately, I use my Surface Pro 4 with an Urban Armor Gear cover. The precision fit of the mounting bracket for the docking station does not allow for a cover to be installed. When the cover is on the computer, it will not sit in the Docking station. When the cover is off of the computer, the computer sits perfectly in the Docking station. I decided to return the Docking mount because I want to continue to use the UAG cover(removing and replacing the cover is too difficult to do every time I switch between office and field).I don't see this as a flaw with the product. It is well made and is as described. It just didn't work for me.

The Vertical Dock I purchased is used to mount an MS Surface Pro 7 on desk mounting setup, and it exceeded expectations. The packaging was easy to take off, and I located easy to follow installation instructions on Vertical Dock's website. Viewing the Surface Pro 7 in both a vertical and horizontal orientation is incredible due to the ways I use the Surface Pro 7 for things such as school work and virtual meetings. Positioning the Surface Pro 7 device to eye level alongside a secondary external TV monitor is great for ergonomics. I had a couple of questions about the mount, contacted Vertical Docks, and their customer support did a fantastic job. The Vertical Mount is easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, high-quality.

Product as described and 3d printed parts worked to mount vertically to fit my office. Surface pro 4 now overheats in the mount which is a new issue.

The best I can find in the market. Very good quality. Looks great with my surface laptop along with other screens on my table. Highly recommended to surface users.

Edit: After writing review I was contacted by the seller that they have upgraded arms for landscape mode that will fix one of my issues. I will update review after I receive and have a chance to use them along with some photos of my set up.I bought this product at the beginning of the year, as my surface pro 5 has become my main PC with my wife taking over my desktop and it being aging. I have virtually nothing negative to say, anyone who uses their surface pro with a docking station should get this for a home or work office set up. the build quality is excellent it has held up well. the customer service was amazing, I had a few issues with installing (turned out to be user error) and some questions before my purchase. they were very prompt to assist, very helpful and very thorough. the only reasons I give this 4 and not five stars is two minor annoyances. 1 the pen magnet is either a bit deep in the plastic or not overly strong, while it works the pen has a tendency to fall off if bumped. that said it rarely falls off cause I am not moving my dock all that much. 2 the much larger gripe but still just a nitpick, the landscape option only really works one way, which is upside down I would love if I had the option to set it up so my landscape where my Surface pro was right side up, even if I have to remove the keyboard cover. the surface pro with cover when I have the landscape holders set up "the wrong way" so I can place it right side up for when I am doing a conference call or an online meeting barely sit in well enough to make contact with the dock plug in. Other than that its absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a docking station for their surface pro. and maybe they will design holders that will allow landscape for people like me down the line.

This is the best (and only) vertical docking station for the surface. the product is sturdy, and cable management is a breeze.Customer service is fantastic as well. I stay in Asia and delivery from Amazon generally takes very long. Dan from Dockable was really meticulous and courteous in addressing my queries about shipping time. When I had initial issues with the product, Dockable didn't hesitate to send me a replacement immediately - no questions asked. Kudos to them!

Was not what I expected. It came in pieces to put together no directions at all. I would not recommend this to anyone

I like that it is 3D printed and custom fit to my Surface Pro. It's made it very easy to mount along with two other monitors.
