I love this kit! It comes with everything you need to grow basil, cilantro, parsley, sage, and thyme. (Ok, you need to contribute your own water.)First you soak the soil pellets. Each pot uses two pellets. They look small, but turn into enough soil for each pot (see pictures). The second picture is after 2 weeks (and with only one lone sage popping up). The third picture is at 4 weeks, with more sage now. I spotted the first growth (thyme) on day 5. Parsley didn't start coming up until day 9.It's easy to follow the instructions. I think the most important one is that there are two seeds (parsley and sage) that require soaking in hot water for 24 hours before sowing (sticking them in the soil).The only thing I didn't like was that the pots started to get a little moldy. I kept the pots on a clean tray, and added water to the tray to be soaked up by the pot and the peet inside of it. This kept the soil moist for the growing herbs, but the pot was also moist and got a little moldy. This did not hurt the plants at all.I highly recommend this kit for anyone that is wanting to start an herb garden. I noticed this brand has several other kits as well, and I'm excited to try out some of the others. Happy gardening!

I purchased this herb garden set as a gift for a friend who was interested in growing her own kitchen herbs. She absolutely LOVED it. The kit includes everything you need to get started. The seeds began sprouting within 2 weeks of planting and grew well in the pots provided. She kept them indoors (as it was winter time), in her kitchen sink windowsill. Eventually, the plants outgrew the little starter pots and she had to re-pot them.Before your know it, you'll have yourself a kitchen herb garden!I am 1000% pleased with this purchase. It comes with everything you need to start a kitchen herb garden. It makes a great gift! I would absolutely purchase this again or recommend it to anyone in search of something similar.

This was a great starter kit for herbs. The kit comes with everything that you need to be an herb-growing green thumb, including pots, soil, seed packets, and markers. Each herb starters set comes with organic seed packets to make fresh, non-GMO herbs like basil, cilantro, sage, thyme, and parsley. You place the dish in the pots add water then add the seeds. I put them in a sunny place and watched them grow. I will soon transfer them to other pots. I love fresh herbs in my dishes and I am unable to have a garden, so this is a perfect solution. It takes limited time to have a grow these herbs.

Everything about the kit, from the cuteness of the packaging, to the ease of planting was very pleasing. The reason that I have given it a 3 star review is because I planted the seeds on April 20th and it is now May 2nd and nothing has sprouted yet. I made sure to follow the directions exactly as written. I am not sure what happened. Since I have plenty of seeds left, I will try to plant again using different potting soil to see if that makes a difference.

I was so excited to get some starter seeds for a new herb garden! They came with easy to follow directions. I soaked the seeds that needed it and planted when appropriate. This picture is about 10 days after planting. I will transfer outside when they are bigger. I still have a lot of seeds to plant later! My kids have enjoyed following the growth of the little seeds into plants.My kit was missing one stake so I wasn’t able to label all the pots. Also, all the seeds were labeled from China. It’s not a huge deal, but one of the answered questions said it was packaged in the United States.

This is a super cute beginner starter herb garden kit! I love that it is so simple! My son and I planted all of our seeds and they’re beginning to grow!! I highly recommend buying spring/summer time so they can be outside - or as long as they get enough sunlight throughout the day!!!It comes with a few of my favorite herbs like cilantro for fresh Pico de gallo!!! My son enjoys watching them grow and watering them when needed!!The instructions are easy to follow as well, and I love that it comes with labeler sticks too!!

Great starter kit! I compared with several others and this one has the best selection. I purchased separate pots for long term (transplant)- which made this and the pots a better deal than buying a complete kit with cheap trays. Reviews were decent and I think this looks like a great set. We will see at Christmas if it is liked. Packaging is also very attractive appealing and professional looking. Looks like I paid much for it! I almost want to buy one for myself now - lol. Super fast shipping! Thanks

Purchased for my toddlers for spring and this is all we got ... very annoying as they did very well maintaining we ended up buying seeds from another place local and they grew in 1 week and already have enjoyed.Definitely a bad batch of seeds.
