Buy at least one...
This is one of my preferred elite trainer boxes, it has a universal appeal as the content and the presentation is quite neutral in my opinion. Whereas if you look at Unified Minds, you might not want to buy it if you're not that geared or interested in psychic Pokemon. This one has neutrality with the card protective sleeves. All of the trainer boxes are presented so beautifully and you get 8 booster packs inside (which is bought individually would be £31.92). When I purchased this for the first time the price was much higher, somewhere in the region of £40 and I think the boxes should be no more than £40. I would recommend buying at least one trainer box, they come with a giant pack of energy cards, the 8 aforementioned booster packs, counters for playing the game, a play mat, dice, a guide (which includes a list for you to tick off which cards you have and all the possible GX/Hyper rares/reverse hollows/common and shiny cards you can pull). You can keep the box to store cards, or they make really nice presentation pieces in collections.

Random cards to EXPAND a collection or IMPROVE a game deck
Many will already know this but just for those that don't:If your child wants to START playing the game. This is not a suitable product. Instead get 2 of the most recent theme decks (currently the Sun and Moon 9 Charizard or Blastoise decks) to play a 2-player game and learn the mechanics etc. Many adults will, at first, find the game confusing so help your kids learn and play together. My kids play the game but also enjoy collecting and trading maybe more. Improving a deck definitely adds a deeper level to the fun.The main content/value of this pack is 8 x 10 card boosters. So you are paying around £4 per booster pack. £4 per booster seems to be approximately what you would buy if you got them individually at a store. But here you also get the extra stuff. (The energy cards, box, dice, acrylic status markers which are great if you don't already have this stuff). Also, please we warned that Pokemon card products can be tampered with (when buying online or in stores). It is possible for sellers/resellers to "map" boxes of booster packs. This means they can figure out, which packs are likely to contain the more valuable/better cards and which ones will likely contain only non-holo rare. Theoretically then they could open an elite trainer box such as this and swap the booster packs in it for packs that they know are likely to contain the less valuable cards. Then the box would be resealed and sold at close to full price and you would just think you had bad luck. There is always plausable deniability for a seller of a product such as this since some genuine boxes would contain less valuable cards just by chance. (As I understand, these boxes cannot be mapped like the booster boxes and, as far as I know, contain 8 random booster packs, which have about a 1/6 chance of a GX or ultra rare and 1/6 chance of a holo-rare)Maybe I am being paranoid? But it is definitely worth knowing that this is a possibility and that you are taking a risk when buying this product. In my case, the pulls were OK. My kids were really happy with them. I am satisfied that the box was not tampered with.We got a ultra rare rainbow double team gx (which I will most likely sell for about £15) and two prism star cards as well as a decent holo-rare.(out of the 8 packs, 2 had the white code card and 6 green ). Again , for those that don't know. The white code card in a booster pack indicates it will contain the rarer cards.. I understand they are used to counterbalance the weight difference.

Good stuff!
My first box like this- a lil' smaller than I expected! But still wonderful, got some pretty good pulls- but given the packs are normal boosters it's luck of the draw! I was able to pull both Ninetales GX and the full art variation!Other reviewer is rating low because of bad luck not because of a poor quality product

Good trainer box
Another great trainer box but I’ve found there looks to be more green code cards with poor pulls in this set compared to other sets.
