This was easy to install and I am very pleased with the amount of light and the range of movement it picks up. If the lens and lights hold up it will keep the five star rating. I will update if necessary. I will be purchasing another for the front. Also, I like it's minimalist look compared to my older motion light (non LED) which quit working.

Good little light. Mot as strong as the halogen we had prior.

I have no luck with motion detectors, this is the 3rd one I have tried. They all work fine for a couple of weeks then start acting up. This one did work for a month or so, but now it sometimes stays on for no apparent reason. I have to keep resetting it.

This light came with a mounting bolt that was about 3 inches short, I thought to myself no biggie I'll just go to home depot. Nope, didn't have what I was looking for. So I searched around my house and found something that'd work.. Upon further investigation I came across a lack of a mount.. Not happy at all with this light. My recommendation is don't buy. Returning immediately.

Look cheap, get the first one defective, second one ok.

This replaces the one on the corner of the garage that finally gave out after 12 years. This one has a soft but bright light, comes on gently to not shock those under it. It is extremely low wattage. Our previous light used 200 watts. This uses 12 watts and is actually brighter.

This is a great product. I previously bought the motion lights and was pleased so a purchased two more and added additional security lights to my house. They work great.

It's a pretty good motion light. It won't win any design awards but it's functionally great. It's plasticy, but it's decently thick plastic. The motion works well enough and it's bight enough for a small to medium size porch.I've replaced a light before so I knew what to expect for the install. First you turn off the breaker. Then you check the light switch. After that you remove the old light. You put the new bracket on. You use the wire nuts to attach the new light's wires. Then you attach the light to the bracket. The manual says to caulk around the base with silicone weather sealant, but the silicone is not included. The manual shows how to install it on a wall or under an eave. Then you have to set the motion sensor timer and adjust where the motion sensor points.You have a couple of options. You can set it to turn on with motion and set the time between 5 seconds and 5 minutes. The timer is how long the light stays on after motion (it will stay on for as long as it detects motion and then stay on for the timer length). The motion light only works at night. If you have the light on a light switch, you can turn the light on steady by turning it off for 2-4 seconds and then turning it back on. Manual mode only works until daylight turns it off or you turn it off with the switch (you can set it manually on every night but you have to set it every night).For now, we're just setting the motion light for about 3 minutes and it's working great. It wasn't turning on till we got quite close so we adjusted the sensor and now it's even better. I'm not enamored with the looks, but it works just fine. Since we've got it around back, it doesn't really matter. It works great and that's all that really matters.
