Good product but very hard to put together.
This is a great set of shelves but when putting it together give yourself loads of space to move around. Get the distances between the shelves from Rowlinsons website so you know where to put the shelves height wise. You will either need a helper or construct the shelves on their side as there’s no way of holding them in place to put in the necessary screws. Also note that apart from the top of the two angled supports nothing is predrilled either and the suggestion of the 3mm drill bit is ok for the small screws but you’ll need 3.5mm for the larger screws. Mine came with 35mm instead of 50mm screws which was actually a good thing. I am a skilled diyer and this took several hours to construct to my shame, the lack of pre drilled holes was the main factor as one had to start with one shelf, the big one and then measure everything off that, never mind getting it all level as the two support struts were not quite the same length. Very hard work but a good result at a good price.

Solid, but tricky to build.
This is a reasonably sturdy item which took me about an hour to assemble. Be aware, you will need a power drill and a small wood cutting drill bit, a spirit level, and (ideally a powered) screwdriver. It’s awkward to build, though in my case that was partly because I did it alone - it would be a lot easier with two people. You start by fastening the two long diagonal uprights. It says to use 4 50mm screws, but if you did two of them wouldn’t actually be long enough to fasten anything. I used 100mm decking screws that I happened to have, but there were a couple of spare 80mm ones at the end.You then have to do a bit of educated guesswork on the positioning of the shelves - the bottom one sits on the lip of the rear frame and there are spare bits of wood in the packaging to help you to make that level while you screw that from the back, then the sides. You’ll need to drill your own pilot holes for this, and you’re working less than 2 inches off the ground, which is awkward. Make sure the uprights each subtend the same angle (ie make sure they attach to the shelf equally on both sides). Once all that is in place, however, it’s all more stable.I put the middle shelf level with the cross beam on the back upright, because it gave you something more meaty to screw into, but the illustration has it lower so the shelves are more even. Again it was more awkward as I had no one to hold it in place - I used a conveniently sized box and the spare slats. Use a spirit level both ways to get it level. Then the top shelf is pretty easy tbh because it’s so lightweight. I used a power screwdriver to drive the screws home good and firm.A lot of garden kit like sheds etc are made out of something like balsa wood. This isn’t, it’s good heavy pine and tanalised. Altogether it’s solid, arguably because I had better screws than were supplied but it’s still good value, if you’re reasonably handy.
