Harry Potter: Sorcerer's Stone/Chamber of Secrets (2pack/DVD) (DVD)

The first 2 Harry Potter movies are my sons favorite. Nice deal for both, nicely packaged also. Great bonus is there isn't a dozen previews to fast forward to, it just goes straight to the movie :)

I had to replace my old DVD's with these because for some reason I misplaced the DVD's or borrowed them with no return. Over all good purchase.Packaging was great, no broken pieces or roughed up discs. The only reason I give a 4/5 is because the Sorcerer's Stone skipped in a couple spots where outside the screen going black for a second, you wouldn't have noticed. Then again two more times where you did miss a few seconds of the clip. It didn't seem to be enough for me to go through returning the whole thing though. These happened on the extended version; I did not watch the theatrical version of it nor did I fully watch the special features. What I did watch of it was fine with no problems.Chambers extended version had no problems and the small bit of special features was good as well. I did not watch the theatrical version on this BluRay either so can't say anything about that.

Movie package came broken and ripped when it was supposed to be new. We were disappointed but the movie itself seems to be ok but we haven’t watched it yet.

Harry potter is just awesome and the fact you get 2 movies for the price of one is even better.

Maybe I just like the child-like qualities of these first two, but the later HP movies/stories grew too dystopian and hopeless for me to enjoy. Glad I never indulged long ago when the entire series was released. One size may not fit all tastes, but these first two fit me just fine.

The first Potter movie was my favorite as its the discovery period where he learned he was a wizard. A new world opened up to him and the transformation is cool to watch. I like the other movies and books as well but the first one will always be my favorite. The quality of this Bluray is good. Thumping good story.

The combo will also take up less space on a shelf. I am not a huge Harry Potter fan, I still haven't seen the last film as every time I try to get through the entire collection I never make it. My son and I are trying again however so since I had 1-3 on VHS tape I had bought this to replace those. The films are fine. It's weird the menu said "play theater version" yet there is no other version included, but even the theater of Chamber of Secrets was 2 hours 40 minutes. I have a bad attention span so for me these movies are way too long. If you're a collector or love harry potter, maybe you want something more then this but for me it works and that's all that mattered.

This was for my granddaughter.She was delighted to have her own Potter DVD.d’sIt is a great movie night feature on sleepovers, popcorn and all!
