Hangs most Gerber pedestal sink units
When I purchased my home, the pedestal sink in the half bath (a Gerber Maxwell 22-514) had no bracket holding it to the wall. During a repainting and remodeling of the bathroom, I wanted to install the pedestal sink properly, so I purchased this bracket and attached it using 1/4" x 2 1/2" lag bolts. The sink is now supported on the wall without the pedestal needed, which made re-plumbing the sink a breeze. With the bracket held up by eight lag bolts, there's no question that the sink is secure on the wall.This should work with any Gerber sink. Big ole bracket, rock solid.
Can't see how it wouldn't do it's job, but after buying and seeing it, can't see how it's really necessary. If the wall behind your pedestal sink has been properly prepped for a pedestal sink, you can do the same thing with a bit of lumber.

Strong bracket for more than just plumbing fixtures
Excellent bracket! I actually used it to hang a 10-foot taxidermy marlin mount flush to the wall, it was exactly the right product for an odd job.Unlike a traditional French cleat this one has a quarter inch lip at the base to accommodate the depth of a ceramic plumbing fixture or big fish.
