So...we adopted a sweet rescue dog who thought it might be fun to run left-right-left-right-behind- left-right-right on walks. I was happy to find this one and THRILLED when it came, I used it, realized it is very high quality. I have had this leash for 1 month and so far it is a great dog leash. I was a little dubious about buying a leash with a second handle as it didn't really seem necessary. But after a month of 3 times daily walks, it is one of the reasons I like it so much. The second handle makes crossing the street and walking by other people easier as your dog is right beside you and not either ahead or trailing behind you. The leash is six feel long but you can adjust it shorter if you don't want your dog that far from you. I highly recommend this leash for walking your dog. The padded handles don't hurt your hand if your dog pulls suddenly. It is also reflective so you can walk your dog at dusk and be seen. Decent leash. Padding in loop broke within a week. Loop itself is fine, just the padded lining broke. Close loop is a little too far from the dog so it often drags on the ground - need to be careful it doesn't get dragged through something undesirable on the ground.Heavy as leashes go, but that's fine for our BMD.Reflective material works well.

I'm 5'-9" with a medium-sized dog, rarin' to go for a walk at 5:30 am every morning. I'd been using a standard length web leash, but wanted to keep my pet at heel on the left side. So, I'd have to uncomfortably bunch it all up in my left, non-dominant hand or hold with my right and also grasp mid-leash with the left. Awkward, uncomfortable, and actually a little painful to keep that grasp for 2 miles with an energetic pup.I first saw a double-handled leash used by another dog owner at obedience school, and it seemed like a fine idea! This allows close-heel for traffic control or a disciplined walk...husband is all about the military-close precision heel :-) But the extra length available allows me to offer my dog room to sprinkle a fireplug or saunter about while I water plants, etc.I spent an unrealistic amount of time looking for the perfect double-handled leash (and I didn't find one in the mega pet stores!), so spare yourself and buy this one now! It's lightweight, offers comfortable & cushy handle padding, is bright-colored and attractive, even reflective! PLUS, you can adjust the section between the traffic handle and main handle of you want an even longer lead! Got the leash within two days, and follow-up emails from Biwin were nice...great seller experience.I like this leash so much I'm going to order the matching, shorter traffic lead for my husband to use!

Not long enough probably for small dogs but works great with harness on our black lab

After 3 years I'm finally buying a second one of these. My puppy chewed on the first one quite a bit but it still held up for all this time (I was impressed that it held up at all, he's chewed straight through other leashes). I'm only replacing it now for looks, we're keeping the chewed up one as backup. He'll never need another one now that he's out of the chewing stage. I love how if you still need it shorter, you can grab the lower part and let it slide up and create a great traffic handle. I clip it to my belt and use it hands free most of the time.

I ordered two of these leashes, one for my 3.5-month-old puppy, and one for a 5-year-old dog that tends to pull back on her leash. These worked wonders on our walks! However, the puppy started munching on the leashes and within a week, one leash was almost bitten through. While I love the comfortable handle and extra control provided, I can't recommend this leash for puppies.
