FABRIQ Chorus Bluetooth Wireless Speaker Voice Activated Amazon Alexa Gray

I've read a lot of complaints about setup. I have an Android v10.x phone and was having some trouble at first. When connecting the phone to the speaker via the phones Wi-Fi setup, there's a pop up notice telling me the speaker doesn't have internet access. That's expected so I ignored it, connection fails every time. On about the fifth try I clicked the notification and a window opens asking if you want to stay connected. It must default to 'no' because the first time I clicked 'yes' the speaker successfully paired. I had no issues after that.

Overall excellent speaker. Wouldn't go full volume to avoid songs being distorted. Wireless charging is convenient and find myself using it for wide array of functions. Giving me the weather in the morning, telling me the news while I'm cooking and of course playing music while I'm outside. Would buy a second unit to give more surround sound. Doesn't perform all alexa functions. Not sure why the is bit every so often I come across a command it doesn't/ can't do.

I have a bunch of gen 1 Echo and Echo Dot speakers. Bought a Fabriq Chorus because of claim of superior sound to the Echos. I call it about equal to Dot and obviously inferior to Echo. Harder to set up than Echos. Worse looking, too. I think.Would not buy again.By the way, I know good sound. Have a bunch of NHT, PSB, and Paradigm hi fidelity speakers. Have owned Dahlquist and Magnepan.Stick with Echos.

Ridiculous to connect and have to restart it constantly and never got it to connect to network. Buttons are unresponsive and inconsistent. Aesthetically it looks great but performs very poorly for the pricepoint.

This speaker is almost impossible to set up, and get working properly. Save youself the headache and buy a different speaker that actually works.

I'm very tech savvy and this is the absolute worst device to set up to connect to Amazon Alexa....
