My 4 year-old daughter loved this colourful Sunny Day doll. We have never seen the Nickelodeon show but she was still very happy to get it.The doll is very nice out of the box with lush, long beautiful hair. It comes with a brush and a hair clip that can be used on the doll’s hair or on your child’s hair. The only complaint is that after a few weeks, the hair (like any other dolls) goes a bit unruly and tangled, which makes it impossible to brush or style. At the end, we had to opt for putting it up in a big bunch and while the doll looks great, it defeated the purpose of getting a doll with long, colourful hair to style.

Review by my daughter, aged 8:This doll's hair is very thick and it came really really knotty, it looks a bit like a birds nest. She does have beautiful hair and I love the colours, but it looks knotty all the time. Her head is quite big compared to the rest of her body and her blue legs are a bit strange. Her eyes are big but they look like they have two sets of eyebrows which is a bit strange. She is really fun with bright colours though which I love.My review:This doll is larger than I was expecting, it really is bright and colourful and I love her hair, although I do agree that it does get very knotty. I like the way her arms and legs move which make her fun to play with. She seems to be good quality and I would expect her to last a long time. She is also a girl and so more body appropriate than a Barbie.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. This is a brightly coloured doll for younger children from the "Sunny Day" range by Mattel. It has multi-coloured hair and comes with a toy hairbrush and a bracelet the child can wear. It has articulated knees and large trainer-style shoes that mean, with some care, it can stand by itself. Overall quality is fair, the dolls hair is well rooted and seems capable of some rough play, the dolls dress is a bit cheap, a simple printed effort. At the time of this review it is retailing for £15 which I think is rather pricey for what you get: there's a lot of empty space in the box! Nevertheless, the granddaughter liked the doll and it's novel, multi-coloured hair, so the play factor is high. I'm giving it four stars: I really think there's an issue with value for money: it's too expensive for what you get, even if it's a figure off the TV.

This is a sweet, fun little doll (inevitably, one of a series / set) that is bound to be a hit, it being tied in with Nickelodeon. The Dell's bright hair- made for brushing - cool looks and hair grip/ bracelet charm is a neat little USP, and if the reaction of my neighbour's four year old daughter is anything to ho by when we gave the doll to her as a gift, is going to be a big hit around Christmas 2019. Resistance is futile!

The little girl of the household just loves Sunny day so I couldn't resist giving this to her as a gift. Her face lit with joy as she opened the box. The doll comes with a neat accessory, it is beads for Sunny's hair that your child can wear as either a bracelet or a hair piece too. This would make a lovely gift and is a fair price.

Sunny is a really brightly rainbow-haired colourful doll with a large head and beaming smile. Not very realistic at all, but very appealing as a play doll, and will instantly make friends with other dolls. Doll seems robustly constructed and is certainly a favourite at the minute. Hair can be styled/brushed with the provided brush. Fairly priced. An item for a young child to treasure,

This is a really lovely doll and a refreshing change from the stick thin Barbie dolls with their fiddly accessories. It’s an ideal doll for the 3+ age range as it’s really easy to handle and dress and she’s so colourful.Fully pose-able and comes complete with a brush to style her hair and a hair clip that doubles as a children’s bracelet.Her hair is similar to most of these dolls and I would imagine that it will get fairly knotted over time if it’s played with a lot but it seems well attached so no issues with that.Standing at nearly a foot tall she is really good value when compared to equivalent dolls on the market.If your child watches Nickelodeon they will probably be familiar with the cartoon character, who is a hair stylist in the town of Friendly Falls. Sunny‘s friends, Blair and Rox are also available in doll form.Great price and would be a welcome present for any young child.Hope you found my review helpful.
