I like this product for my saltwater tank, it seems to make my corals thrive, keep my fish happy and live rock is fed nutrition too. Good price too, for an expensive hobby. I love my tank and do all I can to keep it healthy!!! I bot 3 bottles so am set for quite some time. I do 1 capful weekly. and keep it in fridge once opened to keep it fresh longer.

Absolutely unhappy with this. The product is OK but shipping was late. Meaning I had to buy it at the lfs to keep up with my tank. When it arrived I opened the prime bag and the liquid in the bottle was in the bag and spilling all over me and my floors. This is a smelly additive for a coral reef..... concentrated coral food. I might never get the small out.Just the price bubble bag to protect. The cap is in 2 chunks . So upset right now.

There is a lot of conflicting information online if weather or not this kind of thing is needed. From what i've read in a book it is helpful if you have lots of coral. Good reef salt and water changes may by itself render this kind of product unneeded from what i've learned. In any case, do not buy products that need to be stored properly at certain temperatures or have expiration dates on line, unless the website is a fish store. best to buy from your local fish shop. Every time i purchase something like this from this website it is either expired or stored improperly. Once with a bad bottle of "StartSmart" my entire tank was killed in 7 hours due to improper storage. With my recent purchase of Reef Plus it was stored improperly and debris formed in bottle. SeaChem's lab has pictures and is looking into it. they said it may have been stored improperly. see pic of debris for yourself. also, Seachem said that there is NO expiration date on this product, just needs proper storage.

Dosing half of recommended corals seem to look brighter after about 30 days of use, big downside is that i am starting to get hair algae, I am running gfo and a protein skimmer 2x the size. If i could find way to control hair algae growth and this stuff I would always use

Premetto che sono una neofita quasi completa nel mondo dell'acquariofilia marina, quindi questa mia opinione è da prendere con le pinzette.Sto usando questo prodotto da ormai due mesi, con somministrazione giornaliera di 0,7 ml, su un cubo da 40 litri netti popolato solo da alcuni coralli molli e da filtratori spontanei + un coco worm. Preferisco somministrare una piccola dose giornaliera al posto di una più corposa settimanale perché trovo sia un metodo più sicuro ed equilibrato; per somministrare la dose giusta, uso una piccola siringa da insulina (30 centesimi in farmacia).Devo dire che da quando ho iniziato la somministrazione i miei molli sembrano più sani; sono più turgidi e vitali. A volte - succede - dimentico di somministrare il liquido, e noto una leggera differenza. Minore spolipamento della pachiclavularia, minori pulsazioni della xenia, meno turgore dell'actinodiscus. Combino la somministrazione di Seachem Reef Plus a fitoplancton vivo, null'altro, e mi sembra che vada tutto per il meglio. La fauna bentonica spontanea aumenta visibilmente di giorno in giorno.Penso che questo integratore sia utile soprattutto a chi è un neofita come me, e vuole dare una spintarella a coralli molli semplici senza farsi troppi problemi. Visto che contiene una grande quantità di elementi traccia e oligoelementi, oltre agli amminoacidi, non lo consiglierei a chi segue una gestione più oculata per sps delicati, e ha bisogno di sapere sempre esattamente cos'ha in vasca.Comunque è vero ciò che dichiara Seachem, non innalza né no2, no3 né po4. Ottimo prodotto, lo consiglio a chi ha un acquario marino con invertebrati e coralli, appena lo mettete noterete un miglioramento in brevissimo tempo, praticamente il giorno dopo. Nella confezione c'è scritto due volte a settimana ma io lo metto solo una volta perchè mi sono accorto che usandolo 2 volte in una settimana i coralli e gli invertebrati non reagiscono bene. Spero che questa recensione sia stata utile per voi che leggete.
