Super fun when you have it going!
This is my first drone as I've been wanting one for so long now. I thought I'll start with a good beginner drone to build my skills and then work my way up to the more expensive drone. With all the good reviews on this, this seemed like a good starting drone. The drone came with a remote/transmitter, phone holder attachment, extra blades and blade cover, blade protector, a USB battery charger and a spare battery.I really had fun when I first flew this in the house. However, the real fun was when I took it outside a few days ago. Oh man, it was a blast, especially with the 360 flip feature! This drone is perfect for beginners with uncomplicated controller and with features like one touch landing/take-off, headless mode and one key return. They also had a ScharkSpark Flight Academy facebook group where you can ask questions and getting tips on flying. Also, they currently have a promotion on their extended warranty where they will send you some more extra blades, cover and 2 extra batteries. Yay to extended play time and not having to worry getting spare blades when you need them. That being said, I think there are few things that could be improved. I didn't quite like the phone holder attachment. Since the controller/transmitter is light, I have on a few occasions, where the weight of my phone cause the whole controller to tip over. I've also had my phone slipped out from the holder as well. Not good since the holder can only hold your phone without the cover on. So you need to be careful. Secondly, don't expect a $500 drone picture/video quality with this. I suppose at this price point, it is to be expected. Third, the instruction manual needs to be rewritten for better clarity and also because it was missing some steps. I've brought this up in the academy and they say that they are in the midst of revamping the manual instruction. Lastly, there seems to be like a fraction of second delay in the controller but it's not a big deal to me and didn't cut out the fun. That being said, I still think that this is a good starter drone for anyone who's looking to try their hands on a drone for the first time. I've not had the opportunity yet to get a video and camera capture due to the weather. Once I have some, I will update my review.

Feature Packed Beginner Drone
ScharkSpark has done it again. The Drone Guard for Beginners is the perfect size with all the top features. It has foldable arms, takes photos and videos, altitude hold, WiFi Control, one key take off, one key landing, headless mode, one key return, 3D Flip, and multi speed switch. It has a unique wrap around blade guard that protects the blades and the wings. The cell phone application was easy to download and the clip for the cell phone holds it well without obstructing the buttons on the phone. Itās a nice stable flyer and the picture quality is nice! The camera lens also tilts up and down. Iām going to get a couple more to give as Christmas gifts. The ScharkSpark brand of drones are small and compact hobby grade drones, but all packed with many of the features and benefits of a professional grade drone. Itās getting to the point that concealing your drone will be key to owning one. The smaller more feature packed drones are the way to go. I own a drone as big as my kitchen table and due to new regulations I can no longer fly it where I live. However, these small drones can be flown in the comfort of your front or back yard at heights that wonāt interfere with FAA regulations; just around the house to take the same family pictures you are accustomed to taking, but with spectacular birds eye views. If you like to take pictures, a small camera drone is the perfect alternative to missing the good photo opportunities and the ScharkSpark family of drones, especially the āGuard FQ36, definitely will satisfy your needs. I have a few.

Easy to Fly Drone for a Beginner
First, I would like to provide a background about me, I am not a drone owner before this product and I have no experience in regards flying one. I went to a friends house and he had one of this drones. He let me flight his and it was really easy.I decided to purchase one for myself. Upon receiving the drone I opened the box and connected one of the 2 provided batteries and started playing with it.I did notice some backward drift of the drone however after going back and reading the instructions I realized that I did the wrong initialization process and therefore the Gyro was probably not reset. After doing this no more prominent drift.I really enjoy flying this drone as it is very easy to control and very responsive. I must admit that the hovering part is not as good since it sill drift a little. It will not stay on one position solidly it will slowly drift to one of the sides. This is not a big deal for me.I tested the camera it is decent not perfect and not crystal clear of course. I actually used to check my roof and it did the trick. I have used the recommended app and it works excellent but I still prefer the provided remote.I strongly recommend this product to anyone that wants to try a decent drone with good extra parts and not too expensive.

I Actually Like This Drone (And I'm Real)
This is a fun little drone and great for beginners. It has a speed change button where it can go from easy (out of the box) to medium (a little more response from the drone when the controls are moved) to advanced (pretty steep angle on pilot control movements). I was good on lowest so I flipped to medium. Still good but more responsive. Moved up to advanced and that was a little much for me. Maybe I'll get there eventually. But a fun little drone to keep me busy awhile. Camera is okay. No 4k or even 720p but captures decent images and video. Not perfect but you get what you pay for. You want multiple-gimbal stabilization, you gotta pay for it, you know? It's a bit jumpy but it's entry level. Does the flips decently in every direction. Wish it had a trim function to help it hover motionless. It tends to 'lean' slightly one direction or another depending on it's orientation but that's minor ticky-tack stuff.
