Found a new use for this
I needed some rubber blocks to repair my garage doors. No longer available but as they are 1" thick tried this.Sawn into suitable size pieces just right for the job. Right density to do the job.

Heavy block of rubber.
Solid block of rubber. Bought to use as a kickstand plate on loose ground. Now I know that a crushed beer can work just as well -and is much lighter. But it's excellent for the purpose actually intended.
