I bought one of these after a fellow diver was telling me how great it was at keeping her hair out of her mask and kept it from getting caught. I went diving in Belize recently and dove with my swimband for the first time. It worked great. I didn't pull out any hair! It stayed on my head, which was something I was worried about because most headbands don't stay over very well. My dive buddy also said it made it easy to distinguish me from others with similar gear to me.
