I bought this for photo editing away from home and found the screen does not display true colours. It's sharp enough and can be viewed from any angle but there is a sepia cast to the screen possibly an anti reflective coating. . If you plug in an average 1920 hd external monitor the difference in colour and brightness is very noticeable it's a great shame because the laptop is very fast and capable but let down by the screen for photo editing . The only other thing that's extremely annoying as mentioned in other reviews is the strange usb covers which make a simple task of plugging in a cable in very fiddly .Summing up I wish that I had gone for the Apple Mac for the screen quality I have only knocked it back one star for the screen but that won't be a problem for most users.

I have updated to window 11 now. Still has the same issue. Window pop ups can't be stopped for some reason. It's a popular issue if googled.

It met all my expectations. I am glad I made the perfect choice.Pros: lightweight, compactible for heavy multitasking because of the processor, slick design, suitable for 3d apps and softwares and everything you hoped it could do and more.Cons: the keyboard lights aren’t visible in some dark settings (black would have been the best), not compactible with games that requires high graphics video card (like nvidia gtx), having problems with the mouse because of the slimness of the bezel causing friction on the mouse when holding the laptop with one hand while operating with the other. The fingerprint scanner works well only when you get the hand position correctly. Maybe with time I will start getting it. Lol

I bought this after looking into the Huawei Matebook X pro 13. The problem with my initial consideration was that I was worried about the future of that device with Microsoft and their possible withdraw of support in the future.So this came the next closest thing for the money and its delivered very well on all aspects of things I do. I can comfortably render 15 minute 1080p videos for YouTube in a good time. Its very fast, enough RAM to suit most tasks you wish to throw its way and is built beautifully. I take this on the road when I want to edit videos and upload them to You Tube . Its nice and light, with a very good screen. Any higher resolution a screen would be lost on a lap top this sizeThe only downsides are the battery life, lack of the RAM being DDR4 and the screen brightness not being up to the job outside .

I bought this laptop in December 2020 and found that the USB-C port doesn't work. When I explored on the HP website I found the bit where HP checked my laptop, only to discover that the machine was no longer in guarantee - the guarantee had lasted from 2018 to 2019. So the machine must have been sold and registered in 2018 before being put on the market as brand new. (The advertisement said nothing about it being used.)

All as described. This model is the improved UK version. I watched a lot of reviews and such before going with the hp envy 13 over the dell and others as well as the 360 versions etc.I needed a small laptop with enough power to do graphics, art, design, VMware, and GNS3 at as low a cost as possible.I have had this laptop for a few days and I'm very happy with it. Even some of the 'down' points in reviews are nit-picking really at this price point. The fingerprint reader just needs a little getting used to.Just remember the only things you can upgrade are the drive and WiFi units.If anything changes in my experience I will update.

Pros: I bought this laptop as a student wanting a lightweight portable Macbook alternative and boy does it deliver! It has next to no problems rendering large cad files, smoothly edits video with no lag. The bang and olufson speakers are phenomenal as the audio practically surrounds you and immerses you! Battery life is amazing on "Best Battery life" mode, streamed a two hour film on it and it only went down to 60% very happy! I was surprised at the size of the letters on the keys at first as they are quite large compared to other laptops however its easy to forget and actually helpfull if you have bad eyesight!Cons: The fingerprint reader is a bit hit and miss as it doesn't always work.

I just use a laptop for working (Office style docs etc) and social media and email. It is fast, responsive and so far no problems. The finger print reader is pants but otherwise I am really happy. It feels like decent quality; picture and sound are good; webcam is ok and the keyboard feels nice to use.
