I have mediocre wi-fi signal throughout most of my modestly-sized home (approx 2000 sq ft, 2 levels). The router is on the second floor. It's a wood-framed home with sheetrock walls and internal tin HVAC ducts. There were one or two poor areas on the first floor which were so apparent...literally a few feet saw a noticeable drop in strength down to 1 bar. It affected a TV and a wi-fi floodlight just outside on my back patio, which would drop-out a few times a day. This device has been running about a week and has helped a bit with signal strength, but not very much with throughput (which is typical with wi-fi extenders). Very easy to set-up. I configured it in minutes using the WPA buttons on the router and extender. A good product and priced right. I would recommend it only if your upload/download speeds are good but signal strength is bad. It's not a miracle device that will increase throughput.NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions or failing to read the product details prior to purchasing. Used this device to get a signal in the spare room above my garage. The wifi would not work there for my kids Xbox and they were making me crazy. I researched a bunch of extenders and always saw mixed reviews. I bought this one being cautiously optimistic. I have to say I couldn’t be happier. The instructions were a breeze and within minutes I plugged the device in the outlet near the garage, had my son connect, and voila, Xbox heaven. Now if someone can help me get my kids off the damn thing, life would be golden!!!!

I am not a tech person by any stretch of the imagination and I realize this. So I conscripted my Son-N-Law to install this device. Took him less than 5 minutes once he figured out the best place to put it. Used his smart phone and did this quickly. Immediately our signal strength increased by 17 mbs; which allows us to stream Netflex for our grand daughter.I wish I had invested this small token of money a year ago to insure we can stream from our bedroom and garage. This gizmo is great! And easy to install if you have any tech knowledge. Disclaimer: I don't own a smart phone so that tells you why I needed help. But realized this was the way to go to increase my WiFi signal.

I just installed the Seriud WiFi Extender to improve the WiFi connection to my Ring Floodlight camera. It took me about 30 minutes to connect the Extender to my Modem/Router (connected manually, not with WPS), move the Extender close to the Camera, and change my Ring Floodlight Camera to use the Extender. Results were very good. I immediately noticed an improved communication response time to my camera and when checking Ring Device Health, I noticed the Signal Strength (RSSI) went from -64 to -22 (poor to better than average). Very happy.

A friend recommended me this product as I was search for extender. The product's antennas are pretty long, I suppose I'll get a very good range for this! :) The product is very well priced. We have this set up on a high wall so we'll never have to touch the product and let it do its work. We ran some wifi device for close to 30 days and while our internet is up and running, this device never failed us. Based on my own experience, I highly recommend this product as it's reliable.

I have two tv's on opposite sides of my house. Our wifi router is in our family room. We just bought a tv for our living room and we had difficulty streaming netflix on it. this product extended out wifi range and we have no more streaming issues!

Bought this product to alleviate connection issues with my PS4. I was able to set it up in less than 5 minutes using the wps connection feature, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. WiFi in my basement improved significantly and using the ethernet port to hardline into the ps4 works wonderfully. My connection problems are problems no more.Additionally, the customer service provided by Seriud to this point has been welcoming, as they sent a personal message from a contact at Seriud through Amazon and a note within the packaging with a nice message.My only concern with the product so far is the cheap plastic housing but for the price and functionality, it is of little concern to me.

My router is in one corner of the house - where the internet/TV connection comes in. I have ethernet running to a range extender upstairs on the same side of the house in the middle of the wall on the long side. That leaves a dead spot at the corner opposite the router and on most of the far side of the house.I added the range extender to fill in that gap, and it works fine, generally seamlessly. The only issue I have with it is that sometimes I need to change networks to pick it up.If the main network is "mynetwork" , the Seriud extension uses the same password but creates a link called "mynetwork-plus". This is good, in a way, because when the signal is weak I can see whether the receiving device has failed to switch between the two "networks". Then I switch it manually.The only other (minor) issue is that my router/range extender combination allows me to create a guest network, but this device has no provision for that. In general, though, it does what I need very effectively.
