Perfect for the Stage or your Tight on Space DAW. We Designed the "S-Series" Mic Mount originally for home and studio use where hard mounting isn't so much a necessity. The "S-Series" quickly caught-on with the studio musician's circuit; players needing a portable way to remove and re-set their mics for a revolving number of amps or cabinets. Our patented 2 in 1 "S-Series" Model is a Bottom Mount version of the AmpClamp. It simply grasps on to the bottom lip of your cab or combo amp and using gravity and leverage, firmly keeps the mic in place. As with the WT-Pro Series (also available here on ;) , it's installed in seconds and is a great addition to any professional environment or home studio. & Here's an added Bonus! Each "S-Series" also comes with the Patented Mounting Plate (included with the WT-Pro model), allowing you to easily transform it to a WT-Pro style if so desired. *S Series is compatible with our AB609 adapter for use with Any Mic. Please Browse our Picture Gallery below for mounting options & ideas on a Large Variety User Cabs & Combos! This Listing is for an S Series Mount for Straight SM57 Style Mics only (No Adapter included) S Series for Any Mic. or Un-Conventional or Flat Faced Mic Also available here on Titled S Series /AB609 -USA Made

Easy to use but falls off easily and mic holder broke 1st use
Most combo amps and 4x12 or 2x12 cabs have the exact same bevel edge around the speaker grill. My PRS 1x12 guitar amp is no exception. Using the AmpClamp with my Shure SM57 the first time was easy enough - you slide it and clamp it down. I'm at the first gig with it, drummer walks by my amp and barely brushes it - mic is one the ground. Another time I thought I had tightened it pretty good, and during a song it just fell on the floor. The second gig I used it on I had to push the mic back in the mic holder because of how close to the speaker it needs to be to stay on the cab, and the mic holder broke. I still use this, but I do with I would've bought the CabGrabber - because I wouldn't have these issues at all (because it grabs on to the entire width of the wide of your cabinet).

Does the job
I have three of these and I find they reduce my setup time, my travel load, and my footprint on stage; they replace 3 stands and fit easily into a 2U drawer along with the mics. For what they are they are on the expensive side (1/2-star knock for that); the only peeve I have with them is that the 3 bases I have different hole alignments - none of them match (1/2 star knock for that). I did not order these at the same time but I have moved them from this amp to that and onto different speaker cabinets and have been quite annoyed by the bases not being interchangeable. I have one of the studio models and 2 of the others. I find it easiest to mount the plates with screws; the studio clamp version isn't as solid and I don't have anything that can't handle a few pokes. The mounting plates easily fit between cases with stacking corners.

Perfect for what I need and doesn't take up precious floor space with another book base. Works on my crate half stack cab and my Marshall 110 cab. Good quality and seems to grab well. It doesn't necessarily clamp on, it uses s fulcrum action where the weight if the mic actually holds it on, works well happy

Great quality RoK solid service.
Initially this clamp did not fit my amp but through some very helpful service and a few attempts later I got one that fit my custom cab. This will get rid of the need for a bulky boom stand and it's "set it and forget it" and it's easily moved to other positions. The service alone is enough to recommend this.

This work great to mic my amp.

Not worth it
it won't hold and stay on, only works for the bottom of 4x12 cab, impossible to mount to the top.

Don't Leave Home Without Em.
Great especially during festival season when stands start to become scarce.
