Diamond G Brown Rice 5lbs.

I do like Uncle Ben's brown rice however, it does not hold a candle to this very hearty brown rice. The texture is totally different. I prepare it using either chicken broth or beef broth or vegetable broth, sauteed mushrooms and sometimes will add frozen peas. Sometimes I will serve it with gated Parmesan cheese. It takes 45 minutes to cook but it is so worth the wait. Tastes great even the next day! Once you try it, you will not want to settle for anything else. I will still on occasion pull out Uncle Ben's when I am in a hurry.

This is the best brown rice I have ever tasted and made at home! They are full fat cooked grains that are tender and chewy with a slightly nutty taste. You know it's good when you're kids will eat it! It is also great to have a healthy alternative to white rice that everyone likes!

I love this rice. I've been using it for years and can't find it anywhere except Amazon. It has a nutty taste and firmness. it is not sticky like white rice, so might not be for all. I prefer it for it's nutty flavor and healthy whole grain goodness.

Can't find Diamond brand in my new hometown, so had to order from Amazon. This rice is clean and tasty.
