My experience
I had never used one of these before but I have health problems that I thought I might make some progress with. I have a hard time getting into a fitness routine because of chronic fatigue due to lyme disease. Other combined chronic illnesses make it difficult for me to recover from exercise without getting very sick.I took a long time to warm up to using this regularly. It's easy to overdo it, because you can't always tell how it will affect you over the course of 24 hrs after you use it. It creates way more stress on the body and nervous system than you might think, but as any fitness expert can tell you, that can be a good thing if you put enough attention onto your recovery cycle. So I started slow, took a week off here and there when I needed to, and have seen definite benefits to my energy levels, pain levels and strength. This machine has several specifications one should keep in mind when shopping for a vibration platform. Look at the HZ number, that is oscillations per second. You should be looking for a number above 20, if you want a strong workout. You want 3D oscillations, any less than 3D won't give you a real workout. Wattage for this unit was 200W + 200W meaning it has a motor for each of two axes. 3D requires 3 axes of motion, but with this device there is a rotating cam that produces 360 degrees of motion on one of the motors, which means you get a strong 2D oscillation with that motor, added to the third degree by the other motor. That's how I recall the design looking, anyway.Look for similar numbers when comparing devices.I also think no handlebars is a good thing. This makes it easier to plank onto the machine with out having a bar in the way of your head. This thing will build your upper body fast by planking, except you need to go slow. The stress to your arms and nervous system could easily lead to injury with insufficient recovery time. Think in terms of how you feel, not how you look. Plan to make progress over years, not days. You will feel very stimulated when you get off the machine, but by the end of the day you will be exhausted and it can take a day or two to fully recover.I have been using mine almost a year now. I do upper body one day and lower the next. 10 minutes per session, early in the morning. Stop if you feel any nerve damage, and switch to gentle yoga until you fully recover. Form is everything with this process. It would be nice if this unit came with maintenance instructions. I know some day I will need to take it apart, I just wish I had a better idea of when I should and what to do when the time comes. Instructions are not real user friendly, but it's pretty simple if you ignore the bells and whistles. Just turn it on at the base, use the remote, select "HL" for 3D motion and choose the speed you wish on the bottom three remote buttons. Also, a serious warning: if you want this thing to last, as with all vibration platforms, always balance your weight equally. If you lose your balance, standing in the middle is safer than stepping to either side. Weight on one side or the other can quickly damage the motors or linkages, then it's game over.

Whole lot of shakin' going on!
I have just had this for 4 days so don't know yet what the results will be. It has helped my back so it's not as stiff. Here are tips for older folk like myself:Ask any question and someone will answer! Thanks to those who answered mine. Step onto the middle of the unit then move your feet to the outside position. Bend your knees slightly. Press the remote on the left side, then on the right for the unit to start. It should start on #1 (that will show in the display on the machine) which is the lowest speed. Though #2 may be better as it doesn't "jar" as much. The plus sign at the top on the remote moves the speed up while it is running. The reason to bend your knees is it will shake you less, you can straighten up to feel more. At first you may shake too much but it will seem less as you get used to it. I have my machine in front of a tall file cabinet so I have something to hold onto. Even using a couple of fingers on it will help as the shaking is less and I am balanced. The machine will run for 10 minutes, you can tell the time by watching the display until the time left shows. A few minutes will be enough the first couple of days you use it. A low speed will be enough, you can use the program feature later. To turn the unit off, press the right top button on the remote then the left button.Good luck and happy shaking!

Fantastic and Immediate Health Benefits!
I received my unit today. Though it's too early to give it a full and complete review, thus far, I'm liking it! It doesn't scare the cat. and it's almost as quiet as a cat's purring. I can feel the difference immediately. I purchased this to help me with leg circulation and fluid build up; and to see if it will help me shed a few pounds as some reviewers have claimed. I am the world's number one skeptic regarding exercise claims. I've tried nearly a dozen or so programs but couldn't stick with them. The good thing about this machine is I can use it indoors anytime while watching TV. I will update you later on my progress.*UPDATE* 11/26/17: I've had my unit for 12 days now. A few of the immediate results I've gotten: No need to wear compression socks for leg and feet swelling. No more knee, feet and ankle pain. Diabetic nerve pain and numbness greatly reduced and hardly noticeable. Increased stamina (ability to stand and walk without tripping or falling) and muscle tone. Able to walk longer distances without getting out of breath. Able to rise from sitting much quicker and more effortlessly. Increased energy and endurance. Lung function improved. I had used a 24-hour inhaler daily. Now I use an inhaler about every other day or every 3 days. I was suffering from severe constipation; now, constipation practically gone! I use my unit twice a day, first thing in the morning and in the evening, for 10 minutes each time--and use it on the lowest setting! WOW! Never boring! I watch TV while doing this.

LOVE IT SO FAR!
Love this so far! I'm working with this piece of equipment twice a day for 10 minutes each time. If I do a full 20 minutes, I start to sweat, so something is going on. I have a bad back and this helps and does not make it worse. To be honest, I feel less stressed afterwards. I'm on my first full week and next week will begin integrating some form of exercises with it. The only reason I could not give it five stars is because the instructions are not good. I do not know what to do with the "program" button and am scared to change it. I went online to try to find out information, but there was none. Also, the other reason that I did not give it 5 stars is because I've had to seek vibration exercise charts and examples elsewhere, but I do love how I feel. I'm going to continue doing this and will update results after a month. I have upped the speed to 25.
