Since 2013 we have had a older system that has the older 600TVL image with 60 ft night vision. We upgraded a couple camera's to get the 100 ft night vision. Sound quality was a must then as it is now.We purchased this New DVR set with the 6 HD Camera's and added 2 of our older camera's to it with the Jumpers.We did have a tiny issue setting it up since it was easier then our old system.... kinda complicated it a touch.Trick: before you set it up be familiar with your internet connection and network.We dont use WIFI for this we are hardwired to the network. We don't necessarily use the DynamicDNS from Revo but we have it registered.We use the Andriod APP on our Smart phones. (dont make the mistake of viewing in HD on the smart phone right away)We have had small issues seting up the APP but once we figured it out it has worked perfect. We also view the camera's from our computers with the provided Windows software with no problem.. Anyone that has the older system can remember the time to setup the old software.We can also view the camera's at any PC through the IE browser anywhere.We did not have to use TECH support for this but in the past they have always been great during normal business hours. (Meaning like 8 to 5)None of the systems are perfect but this comes close.. and while the camera's dont support audio with the DVR our older camera's which we hooked up do.. We simply added a A/V patch cable that can be bought from REVO witch gives the option to convert a RJ12 connector camera to BNCAll in all Very happy with this upgrade for usNOTE: before you mount it all over the place set it up fully in a room run it for a day or two get familiar with the settings.. Plan out the running of the cables.. WiFi camera's will work with this as well.. Take your time. IF you reall run into problems Call REVO..

On November 27, 2020 I ordered this product and had it installed by a professional technician. Six months later the DVR crashed. Last week I ordered the same product as it was the only DVR I could get to be compatible with what we already installed. I am contacting amazon to help correct this issue. This product description states the DVR is a Revo American Aero HD 8 ch. 4 amp DVR. As you can see in the picture the 1st unit that crashed (back) and the new replacement that came yesterday. They are not what I purchased, unfortunately, I didn't notice it until it crashed and I needed to replace it. If someone could contact me regarding this issue it would be greatly appreciated....

I have this system set up on my house and I am very pleased with how good the night vision is. Night vision almost looks like it’s day time and picture is very clear. This system has so many different features and setting I’m actually still learning some of them. But other systems cost double what this costs so it’s a great deal. You will not be disappointed. One down fall is that the system don’t come with any kind of manual for the DVR or Cameras so you have to understand the basics to get the system set up to your liking and learn as you go. It is pretty easy to navigate and was easy to get hooked up to my network also it was simple to get set up for remote access Via app in Apple store. I’m planning on purchasing the 16ch with higher MP when we move to our new house because 8 cameras isn’t enough. Thanks for a great product and if your thinking about buying this system, do it, you won’t regret it.

i received the wrong product. nothing i received even said Revo on it. now im going to ask for a replacement. to be honest with all the reviews i see. this will most likely be a waste of time.... will updateUpdate.... yup just as expected. They sent the wrong item again. No Revo product. A bait and switch... I'm returning and asking for a refund...
