Good chair, easy to use
We got this style of potty chair to encourage my reluctant potty-trainer. I was hoping he would enjoy the independent aspect of it and the "big kid" style. It is stable and easy to put on the toilet (even different heights). The seat is soft. The step is large and easy for him to turn around on. It is also nice that at the highest setting it keeps his knees up slightly which is a good position for pooping. The only negative is that the seat ring is a bit larger than potty chairs that sit on the floor, so my kiddo with a tiny butt feels a little like he's going to fall in. But, the handles are there for him to hold until he finds his correct perch on the seat. So, not that big of a drawback. Also folds up to move out of the way as needed.Really liked it! Here's to hoping we are potty trained soon!

Wonderful
Wonderful necessity to help potty train... My 3 yr old is a ladder climber and this made him feel like he was in his own domain!!

Grandma approved! This potty seat with ladder has all the others beat!
I was looking for a ladder style over the toilet potty seat for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who is in his first week of potty training. We do have a potty that sits on the floor and he has that style at home too that he uses but trying to help him keep his aim and bottom in a tiny little seat that's 10" off the ground can be trying for both of us!I wanted a sturdy ladder style that would not slip/move on the toilet, padded seat and easy to climb. After checking out a lot of the ladder styles I found this one and boy does this seat have everything! Non-slip strips on the bottom of the seat that fit's against the porcelain, a padded seat within a thick plastic contoured splash guard seat, wide thick single step on ladder( you can adjust the height of the step) handles to help him climb up and turn around and thick plastic ladder legs with non- slip feet. It's easy to assemble and folds up when not in use. We have both a standard oblong style toilet and the newer oblong tall ADA style. This potty seat fits both toilet styles perfectly. I had my grandson for an overnighter and have both the floor style and ladder style potty seats in the bathroom. After checking out the ladder style, he decided he wanted to use it over the floor style. During his stay I left both out for him just in case and each time he wanted to use the ladder style. I think this particular potty seat design and comfort make the big toilet seat less scary and the stability of the ladder/ease of use a confidence builder. I also think the climbing adds a little fun into the adventure. The only issue I had with this seat is my grandsons ability with effort, to lean backwards while sitting and pull back on the handles, lifting the legs in the air. Sort of looked like he had a machine gun, lol! Like a lot of kids, my grandson has the curiosity and strength to test the limits on everything and I think he was trying to figure out what this new thing could do! I would never recommend leaving a child alone while potty training so each time he turned around to sit down I placed my toe against the foot of the ladder which discouraged his experimenting and he hasn't tried the machine gun maneuver since. For me, this potty seat is as close to perfect as imaginable. Oh, and shipping was amazing! I got this same day delivery, just in time for his visit!
