Not what I expected

This was such an excellent series, such a refreshing change from the usual "reality" elimination programmes, it's a real shame that the DVD of it has been edited, with bits snipped out here and there for no apparent reason.It's not as though the five episodes were overlong, and as it is the second disc is really rather short.Still, it's good to have it at all and to be able to marvel at the hidden depths that can be found in seemingly ordinary men and women.

While a recreation in peacetime is not going to have the intensity of the wartime experience, it was clearly an emotional and evocative experience for the participants and a fascinating window into the SOE preparation.

A good Dvd of an interesting programme

I had hoped for a biography of some SOE agents, but instead got SOE training methods renewed. It pays to read the small print.

Fascinating series when shown on the BBC, however very disappointed to see that the DVD is a an edited version in the series. Several pieces edited out if the first episode. Rather ruins it.

Informative and enlightening, learning about some of the bravest women and men who were secret agents during WWII
