updated , please read if you are thinking of buying
Long story made short; many, many problems with printer, too many to list here. An older version/design model of the Anet A-8 printer, re-branded as 'Trovole' and, I suspect, sourced from warehouses full of obsolete/outdated models. I have since purchased two brand new versions from Anet, and they are significantly higher quality/more reliable. In any event, my inclination was to go with one star, but I have to recognize the excellent customer service. Failed parts were immediately replaced/shipped. Communication was good. 4 stars for customer service, zero stars for machine, which has major engineering issues, equals 2 stars overall.

Great starter 3D printer.
Like any 3D printer clone everyone is going to find something wrong. But if you're on a tight budget like me, it is what you make of it. As a first time 3D printer buyer I new nothing about them. If you're not afraid of assembling something then you're halfway there. My experience has had it's ups and downs. My display was malfunctioning and lost my power supply about 2 months after getting things up and running. GUCOCO took care of me. They sent me a new display and power supply. I think their support is great. I did make some upgrades, but from what I've learned that is pretty standard with any printer. That's unless you plan on dropping another 300 on top and then there is always something I'm sure you can upgrade. I'm happy with my starter printer.

Doesn't work as given Edit: You're going to have to perform some extra steps not included in instructions.
Just got nice today.First off, instructions don't work for the parts given. Expected an aluminum plate to hold the hotbed to the y-axis rails. Instead there is a wood plate, despite the fire hazard, I decided to proceed building this (hoping they tested it). However, it doesn't fit around the y-axis motor (pictured). Not a big deal, I have a Dremel and the actual hotbed will still clear the motor as it sits on raised spacers, so I cut out a space that allows the platform to slide around the motor. Continuing with the build, I run out of the m3*25 bolts which instructions requested for attaching the hotbed mount to the guide rails.Edit:They have good customer support, but the provided instructions are awful. There are included wood squares about the same size as the bearing mounts. Use these as spacers so that the board will clear the motor. Use the 16 included m3-40 bolts to fasten the hotbed-mount and spacers to the linear bearings. This is not indicated in instructions.. everything else you can follow the video/manual that's included on the CD.I've been using this printer non-stop for the last week (after adding the necessary fire-safety devices that ALL Anet A8 printers should have).Print quality is fantastic.

Really fun, but expect a bit of trouble with it
Ok, so I'll start with the few bad things about this so you know what you're getting into before buying:1. Like one of the buyers above, I did not get the aluminum plate and instead got a wooden one, which caused a big wtf moment as well as set me back a good 2 hours in assembly time figuring out how to make the mod work (it gives little spacers to raise it higher but there is no mention in the instructions), and I've lost a few bearing balls while readjusting. The seller did offer replacements which is great.2. You will really benefit from having an electric drill with a screwdriver attachment and a 5.5mm or 7/32 ignition wrench and/or socket to get the locknuts tight; I also used a z shaped screwdriver (like the one you get in every ikea set) to get a few other locknuts in place. If you don't have those tools best of luck to you.3. The extruder came with very vague installation directions, so if you're not mechanically inclined expect to some frustration. If you are mechanically inclined, expect some frustration either way.4. Some of the wooden pieces are not perfectly cut, a good exacto knife or a dremel will help getting them interlocked. The good:1. The perfectink team responded within hours, really goes a long way when you're buying a random product, so kudos to those guys and gals!2. I've had an absolute blast putting this thing together! I haven't had so much fun since my first lego set.3. By putting this together yourself you will learn about everything in this thing, so it's worth the experience, and at the price it is now that's a damn bargain. So far everything works, but having lost a couple bearing balls I don't have much confidence in the smoothness of the Y-axis movement, so I won't review printing quality until I get a few new bearings.
