I am a big fan of Thai iced tea! Came across this item on my instagram feed and so glad that I ordered it and gave it a try!!When I ordered the first packet and made my first Thai Iced tea, I would have to agree with the other reviews, the tea leaves a lot grounds on the bottom and it is extremely uncomfortable to drink. The directions say it will leave a few, but it is WAY MORE than few. However, I FOUND A SOLUTION to this problem.I place a tea drop into a one time "loose leaf tea filter" and let it melt in there. Pretty much ALL OF THE grounds stay in the filter bag and all you are left is with the tea in your cup! It makes a huge difference by using a filter bag. I would suggest you do the same, this way you are not left with so many grounds that make it uncomfortable to drink it.The taste is great and it is more affordable to make it at home verses buying it constantly at a restaurant.I love the product for the amount of money it costs me.

The flavor of this product is spot on for what I was expecting. The packaging is cute and looks good. Where it kind of started to fall apart for me was the overall volume of drink. In the description it claims each "packet" meaning tea, milk and water will provide a 10-12 oz. When adding up the preparation instructions the total yield of volume is roughly 6oz, which is quite misleading. I did attempt to make 10oz and that was a bland, tasteless mistake.I see there are reviews regarding the sediment of the tea, which states it's loose leaf tea in the compressed cube. The sediment is fine and a smidge gritty but nothing awful. There wasn't much in the first one I used, but the others seemed to have more, which is a bit off putting.Overall the product is fine, but since this only provides a small drink I don't think I will purchase again.

I am a new but avid fan of Tea Drops. I've ordered a sampler box and bag of Matcha Green Tea drops in the last month directly from them and loved them both. I saw that they were selling their Thai Tea on Amazon at a discount and decided to give it a try. The box shipped quickly and was in good condition when it arrived.I enjoyed putting the tea together, particularly stirring in the condensed milk. On first taste I really loved the taste. I also found the drink very refreshing. But, like many of the other reviewers have said, the drink is pretty gritty even after lots of mixing. I happen to not be bothered that much by tea sediment generally but find that this drink perhaps has too much. I would recommend that Tea Drops alter the recipe a bit to make sure more of the drop dissolves in the hot water.I also think that even at a discount, the price on this kit is a bit steep. Especially on Amazon, I think it is much cheaper per cup to buy condensed milk and Thai Tea powder separately. With Tea Drops you are paying for the quality of the tea, portions, and branding. I don't know if I will buy the Thai Tea kit from them again but am thinking about buying their Golden Latte kit. I also will keep buying the Matcha Green Tea and Citrus Ginger drops as well.

It really will. It may not be authentic compared to what you recall in your adventures in SE asia. But this flavor is spot on. It's delicious hot or cold. This isn't an everyday product. It is more like a treat. Something I enjoyed on my hammock this sunny sunday afternoon. It was at least as good as what you could get at restaurant. Perfect for camping. The customer service is amazing and helpful. I love the quality of the condensed milk. I will buy again!If you are new to Thai Tea then be prepared for a full bodied beverage. It's conventionally sweetened with condensed milk. It makes for a rich full bodied flavor that gives you tons of fats and sugars in addition to the caffeine. The Tea can be sweateneed in way you like.

The idea of this product is that it you add a block of tea to hot water and it will dissolve completely leaving you with a glass of tea. What actually happens is that the tea does not dissolve, leaving you with a glass of un drinkable liquid. The particles of tea are too fine to be strained with a strainer, so if you want to strain the tea you have to use a cheese cloth. The liquid you are left with after straining is a tea with very little flavor. In my opinion this kit was a little pricy to begin with, but I still bought it becase there was nothing else like it on the market, but having to turn away from the original idea of it being a quick and easy way to make Thai tea, and have to add in straining the tea brings down value for your money. I think this product is a great idea, but the formula needs some more work :/

My 12 year old and I really enjoy thai tea and we were excited to try this set. We used a kettle to heat up our water and then followed the directions. Overall, the taste was as good as to be expected after we added a bit of milk (and that way there was more to share), but the bits of tea that were left over we did not enjoy. When we made it a second time, I wound up pouring it through a coffee filter to collect all the bits and we liked it much better that way. I don't know that I would order it again.

FIRST! I’d like to say, I read the previous reviews and a lot of people said it was gritty and awful. I think they must not have read the instructions or understood that when the package says “loose leaf tea” and “some sediment at the bottom of your cup is expected and drinkable” it means that there will be some LOOSE LEAF TEA. So, I used a tea bag to make mine. It was amazing. The flavor was perfect! The condensed milk was perfectly portioned. 10/10 will purchase more tea drops.
