Maison: Parisian Chic at Home

This book is beautiful inside and out. I absolutely love how it's formatted and how it breaks out the layered looks of each apartment along with the corresponding color palettes. It's aesthetically so pleasing to the eye and highlights a very eclectic range of styles that still capture the Parisian chic essence we all love. Maison is actually what I was looking for to be inspired to embrace the seamless Parisian vibe I adore. I cannot wait to really dive into this book and apply some of these concepts to my home.

This book was so enjoyable I read it cover to cover and savored each page with delight!

If you love anything french, you will love this book. Even the overlap paper is a keeper! I look at it all the time for inspiration, you might too!

The format didn't coincide with the content. Very confusing. Not useful in what title wanted to convey.

This is a book you will pick up often to enjoy slowly. The photos are visual treat.

I just got back from France and felt super inspired to bring a little France into my American home. I bought this book looking for inspiration but I just felt anxious. Flat/old linens and open messy cabinets. Stuff just everywhere! Non-cohesive color palettes. I did love the use of books as decor, when done right. Not sloppy. Loved the architectural detail of the apartments. Loved the vintage pieces. Also when done right, not sloppy. I do love the maximalist trend in interior design but these places where cluttered messes to me.

I have the book myself -wanted as a present for a friend.It arrived on time in good condition -she was thrilled.

Es un libro lleno de inspiraciones de estilo parisino. Gracias a las acuarelas tb es un libro arty.Y lo mejor: viene con un poster grande que represnta una mezcla de fotos, dibujos, objetos vintage y se puede enmarcar.

I love Ines de la Fressange, study her clothes and buy them too. Her office is wonderfully decorated.But beware. These French homes are quite plain, but not in a creative way. They are basically painted flat white and filled with cute little objects from the vintage markets. There is very little that is unusual here. The only things that were inspiring were the internal walls made mostly of glass, just wonderful. Other than that, it was a bit samey and not particularly French.Of course, if this is your style, then this is the book for you, but I was hoping for something more radical.
