I love these patties! The flavor just really gets that classic burger essence, it’s so yummy. And they’re so easy to cook, microwave or pan fry or air fryer or toaster oven or regular oven. These are the first vegan burger we ever tried and one of the things that made us realize we could actually stick to a vegan diet. So glad gardien exists and keeps putting out yummy products! And so glad Amazon carries these - they’re very hard to find in stores in Texas lately.

I typically don't buy fake meat products after realizing how much sodium is in a lot of the items but due to SIP I have limited options for food and have really been craving a cheeseburger so I started buying the frozen beef burgers that Amazon and Walgreens carries. Gardein's patties have a better texture and are more like real meat (weird huh) than the ones that are supposed to be meat and they're better for you. As far as taste goes, some reviewers complained about lack of flavor but I sprinkle garlic salt, onion powder and black pepper and it's delicious. Width is a bit thin but satisfying. Comparable to a fast food burger size. I guess if you want a restaurant sized burger width you could just double stack them. Hmmm... trying that after my eaze delivery arrives.

The flavor is mildly beefy as if you had a pound of beef and had to make 8 burgers. You would have to use a lot of fillers to make it stretch. That may keep some people away, but not me. It's not beef but does a pretty good job trying to taste like it. Give it a try. They are on the thin side, but if it were any thicker I don't think the flavor would come across as well.

Compared to a beef burger, not the best I've had, certainly not the worst. At least it felt like eating a burger. I cooked it on stovetop in the suggested 2Tbsp vegetable oil, used salt, pepper and onion powder to flavor. Added a slice of cheese and put it on a good bun (hawaiian bread) with lots of mayo and pickles. I think the more it's dressed up the better, but isn't that true for most burgers?

Definitely doesn't taste like beef, but a good substitute. I toast the bun, add cheese and my favorite condiments and it's a pretty tasty burger.

So I bought these based on one recommendation that had me excited. A reviewer on here said and I quote "these are so juicy I had to double check to make sure I wasn't eating real beef ". Another review of gardeins beefless ground said they bought it for their daughter who was going through a vegan phase but still use it even more that she eats meat cause it was so delicious.Um, as a meat eater who wanted healthier options I can tell you with 100% certainty this tastes nothing like hamburger, it smells nothing like it and it is by no means juicy. It is OK I would choose this over an actual never but I'm not gagging eating it. The texture is more like a dry scrapple and the taste is similar as well. I will most likely not be buying these again and if I ever did go vegan I'd probably starve before opting to eat fake meat cause even the chicken is off. I just can't do it so if you're like me looking for a healthier meat alternative but still like meat then yeah don't go into this purchase with high hopes.

I was suspicious because I'm used to how Beyond burgers come out the package uncooked and looking "raw". These came out dark brown. 4 in the pack. They tasted very much like a burger. I liked the texture. I slow cooked them and BBQ sauce in the oven and straight up fried them on the stovetop. I bet they'd taste great on the grill. Honestly, you could probably fool a child that this was real meat. If you were looking for something vedgie tasting, this isn't for you. This is definitely just a genuine plain and simple imitation of a beef burger. They have a thin thickness, but not McDonalds $1 cheeseburger thin. It's pretty decent.
