The item was difficult to program.we started using the GPS system Saturday upon arrival in Costa Rica. A trip normally taking an hour took 4 hours. Half the towns could not be brought up and the house we rented could not be found. Thankfully, costa ricans are nice and helpful. We planned a 2 month stay so decided to bite the bullet and rented from the car rental a local GPS which works much better. We also plan immediately upon return (3/5/19) to return this item to amazon. The maps lack specificity, difficult to navigate and program. My recommendation to those considering purchase save your money and get an established name brand.

I was looking for a basic GPS for my father (who's 82), and my goal was something simple and reliable. I liked the idea of the touch-screen, but navigating around the product just isn't that straightforward. The owner's manual is just marginally helpful at best (although its marginally helpful information does come in several languages, so that's nice).The biggest downside, and why I'm returning it, is that while sitting in my kitchen trying to program it, the signal/reception/GPS ability kept dropping/saying it wasn't available. I live in a metropolitan area, so that doesn't bode well for my dad's use (he lives in the country). I thought this was going to have a program within that would give directions regardless of a signal, but apparently not....If you have a GPS on your phone, you don't need this. And if you need a reliable GPS because you don't have it on your phone and/or want something for remote areas, this probably isn't your solution.

I ordered this gps for the purpose of using it when I visit Florida. I live in the Bahamas and I don’t go that often. When I got the device I used it in the Bahamas just to get use to it, it worked perfectly and I was excited to use it. But when I flew to Orlando Florida, got in the rental car and tried to use it it wouldn’t work. Nothing wrong with the device itself it just kept telling me that my location was Russia, I factory reset it about 5 time and got the same result. At that point I was very displeased luckily my phone had offline google maps and internet service from my local carrier other wise I would’ve been in a jam.

It's nice to have a nice big screen gps system because it frees up the phone and the maps are very complete. I was extremely pleased with the sellers overall responsiveness and eagerness to be helpful.and i also get a free nice holder and bag. Good Value.

So far we love this gps it sits nice on your dash very easy to use price is great beautiful screen as good as the built ins in your car
