Very wobbly. Can't stow motor. Can't use all positions.
The motor I tried to use was a Yamaha T9.9 weighing 98 lbs. The arms are WAY too close together, and it wiggles side to side with only finger pressure on the side of the motor.Next issue - would not raise to its highest detent with the motor installed, and the bottom of the motor was not striking it.Next issue - would not allow the motor to tilt up to the lock/stow position if the motor was "amidships", only if turned to one side or the other all the way. That doesn't work when you have the motors linked for steering purposes. I didn't try it out for a couple months and decide I didn't like it. It arrived, and it was two months before I had the time to mount it. It never saw use. HOWEVER, the seller saw this review and issued a partial refund well after the deadline. I appreciate their integrity. I still don’t like the mount, but I would buy from this seller again. They didn’t have to do what they did.

Looks good and it looks strong
I just installed this bracket on my rowboat yesterday so I have had very little time with it but that said, it appears strong and well made. It’s on my rowboat to hold my Minn Kota Endura 30 electric motor freeing up valuable real estate for my 9hp gas engine. The only issue I had was with the lifting are being too tall to to the motor bracket. With the motor on I couldn’t raise or lower the motor. Easy fix, I cut it back about 2”. Works great. For the price I’m very satisfied.

GREAT VALUE
Initial impression is very good. Will update after install. For the price it seems like a very sturdy mount. Springs are strong, and the finish is a sort of rough sand blasted aluminum.
