would put these garbage bags on a par with any of the name brand bags. So far they have worked very well taking very large loads they're not puncturing or breaking and the drawstring doesn't pull through like the cheap bags usually do. They really held up well, haven't had a chance to check for anything that would leak through the bags (but then even the brand name Glad or Hefty leak unless you buy the really expensive ones that don't leak). But I will add to my review should I have a chance to put anything in them that might leak. But as far as the quality of the 30 gallon bags fill them up, and they were able to handle the heavy load without tearing so I would give them 5 stars at this point. The packaging box is very cheap cardboard I would put it on a par with a probably as thin as a front cover of notebook ( that type of cardboard) but surprisingly it hasn't torn or pulled apart. It comes 50 bags in two big rolls of 25 each inside the box. Thanks, the outside packaging doesn't make any difference because you're buying the bags not the packaging and you can always take the bags out and put them separately in your cabinet & it's easier to dispose of the outside packaging because all you have to do is take it apart and fold it up and shove it down into your garbage or your recycle bin.I would say this was a great buy, really nice quality. Solimo trash bags will be my new brand a bag for my house.

I got these baggies when I adopted my kitty, 22 months ago. I'm just now starting to run out of them! I have my own "litter genie" system, where I have a 1 qt. bowl, cover the bottom with Arm & Hammer litter deoderizer powder.. I scoop the clumps of (you know) and put them in one of these baggies and seal it. If the baggie is not full, I put it in the bowl, which has a great rubber lid that seals well. It stays there till, the next time, when it gets filled up and taken to the kitchen trash (which goes out daily). The litter powder keeps there from being any bad smell in the bowl. Anyway, I NEVER expected the baggies to last TWENTY-TWO MONTHS! And for $7.50, that's excellent! I also use these bags for putting my face mask in to carry in my purse till I need it. I have not had one problem with these and to me, it's a very good deal and keeps me happy!

Great for the price point

I was a bit skeptical at first of getting 300 bags for this price but I have to say that these Amazon Brand Solimo zipper bags are very good quality. I absolutely hate wasting any type of food, even if it's just the last two bites of a burger, so I save everything (viva leftovers!). But the brand name bags have, let's face it, gotten outrageously expensive--especially the ones with the little zipper (that zipper that jams about half the time after one use). These Solimo bags zip up easily, stay closed and they're as rugged as any other bag of this size.Also, these bags feed nicely out of the box which is important to me because it drives me nuts to go fishing around in the box for a new bag. For the price, and when you consider you get 300 bags in a box, this is a true bargain.

These bags are OK, not the best, but not awful. The packaging and delivery method is inexcusably terrible. The box is perforated for easy opening. If the box isn’t part of a larger order, a label is slapped on the box and out the door it goes. In some cases the label covers the perforated section of the box. This would be a negative if the box was properly shipped in another box. But with no outer protection it is better for keeping the perforated area from opening and exposing bags that are used for food storage. When the box is banged around the food storage bags become exposed to dirt and anything else that makes it in through the box opening. And sometimes the bags fall out. I’m amazed this passed any sort of standards review. At least shrink wrap the damn box or use a biodegradable paper bag around the box. This looks like it was sub-contracted out to Big Lots for fulfillment.

Use them for many things.

These are not the best quality sandwich bags. There is a noticeable plastic scent to them; however, to be fair, I did not buy them to store food but crafting items (e.g. embroidery floss, hot glue sticks, glitter, etc.) and they've held up well for that purpose (Update: With the arrival of spring, I'm using these to germinate my seeds,too). Bags are easy to close and hold the seal for solid items. I did not test it with liquids, however. In comparison to three other brands of sandwich bags (Ziploc, ALDI store brand, and Hefty), the Amazon bags are by far the thinnest, even in comparison to the off-brand one. Plus side is you get 300, I guess.Again, not using these to store food, but they work well for my crafting items.
