Does what they say it does - I own four
Several companies used to distribute this exact type of unit. Runs on four AA batteries or a USB plug. Definitely needs good AA batteries or a 1A USB power source. You can see the single LED light get dimmer as the batteries run down.I use in a closet with a small fan to deodorize my sports jackets mostly. But I have run all four units in my home to get rid of cooking odors. This is not a super powered unit. Four units with a couple fans to circulate the air will take a couple hours to significantly reduce odors.I have used it successfully in a fridge. But bear in mind it does not just run indefinitely. You have to push the button. My oldest unit is two years old and still working. There's no way to clean the internal plates. The plastic is fairly robust but you'll knock things loose inside if you drop it.The unit has an internal timer. I use the blue mode and it runs for 2 hrs. I can probably run it 10 times on a set of AA's.I have used other brands/completely different look or design. Some are good. But they are really over priced.I can normally find this style for $15 to $20.Rechargeable AA's work but you only get 1/3 to 1/2 the number of times it runs. You'll have to keep swapping out the batteries for recharge. A USB power source would be better for folks who want to avoid wasting AA primary batteries.

It's still just sitting there.
I still have absolutely no clue what this thing does, to me it does absolutely nothing.
