Imagine fresh herbs and vegetables grown in your home, year-round. With the AeroGarden Harvest Premium you can grow fresh herbs, vegetables, salad greens, flowers and more! This smart countertop garden uses water and patented nutrients to naturally grow plants... no herbicides, no pesticides, non-GMO. It's natural goodness right at your fingertips. AeroGardens are the world's leading indoor gardening systems. You can grow up to 6 plants in this garden and they'll love the 20 watts of high performance, energy efficient LED lighting. The LED lights are tuned to the specific spectrum that allows plants to maximize photosynthesis, resulting in rapid, natural growth and abundant harvests. The LED lights concentrate daylight white LEDs for fast growth, blue LEDs for bigger yields, and red LEDs for more flowers and fruit. With ideal lighting and optimally balanced levels of water and nutrients, plants grow up to 5 times faster than when grown in soil. The Harvest Premium's easy-to-use LCD control panel utilizes simple prompts to guide you from setup to harvest. It also creates optimal conditions for your plants by automatically turning the lights on and off and reminding you when to add water and nutrients. The AeroGarden Harvest Premium sets up in minutes without tools. Just insert the Seed Pods in your garden, add water and nutrients, and then watch it grow! Everything you need to start growing is included: 20W LED Grow light, and 6 Gourmet Herb seed pods to get you started: Genovese Basil, Thai Basil, Curly Parsley, Dill, Thyme, and Mint.

Actually works pretty well
I was fully expecting the actual performance to look less enticing than the ad pictures, but it actually delivers what it says it does.Every herb sprouted and grew faster than ordinary gardening techniques. The basil didn't bolt to seed and a few of the leaves were large enough to cover a sandwich...It is pricy and I figure I can build one about 2.5 times larger for 1/2-2/3 the cost.I gave it to my wife and started building one...

Best worth , reliable, looks good, no regrets!
What there not to like!I have a salad collection what keeps on giving !. Daily I eat a bowl of salad , but the next day , you can not see what’s taken! It does exactly what all of they others promise, tell you when to water , when to feed , but this one is best priced.I’m even having additional herbs plants planted in dirt stacked under the light, and they do beautiful

A little glitchy but great indoor grower of produce!
We have now had our aero garden for a few months now and have loved having fresh herbs at a moment's notice (or an abundance of herbs that leaves us scrambling for recipes, depending on which one is more positive for you). We have successfully grown the Aerogarden-branded basil, Thai basil, and tomato pods and are in the process of transferring the tomato pod to a planter so it can get bigger. The Basil and Thai Basil grow like weeds - we are constantly trimming them down and give away cuttings to friends and family frequently (we've had lots of cuttings successfully sprout roots for ease of transplanting). Several of the pods that came with the Aerogarden did not work but when we called customer service to let them know, they quickly let us select other pods and had them to our door within a few days. I like the ease of popping in a pod to start the process and you don't have to do much other than to add water every 2-3 days and liquid nutrients every 2 weeks. The glitchy part is the reminder system - the aero garden is founded on a timer system. We have it set so it turns off at 11pm and turns on at 6 am and have not reset it once since we plugged it in and started. Unfortunately, the nutrients reminder will not go away even though we've tried every combination of buttons to reset the nutrient timer. We don't want to unplug the aerogarden to kickstart the timer anew so we've just tried to keep track of the nutrients schedule on our own. We also were not aware of how bright the unit would be once fully operating. There's only one logical room the aero garden can be in but it is open and in the middle of house so the light is extremely distracting if we try to sleep before 11pm. It's definitely some thing to keep in mind if you are interested in getting an AeroGarden - placement and light pollution, so to speak. It it something we did not consider and it is one of the only drawbacks to having something like this in a small home. On the bright side (pun intended), we have loved having fresh herbs and now produce - we did not buy kale pods from aero garden but we dropped a few kale seeds in one of the pods that didn't work and now have a healthy stalk of kale trying to take over the entire aero garden. Our plan was to use it as a starter so we would eventually move it to a planter to allow it to get bigger. Using the aero garden to make starter plants is much more convenient and cost effective than buying starters from the farmers' markets or waiting to grow plants from seed in soil. Love our Aerogarden and would not hesitate to get a bigger one in the future.

Six months in and loving them!
These are so low maintenance and we're having so much fun growing the herb and tomato packs. Very high yield with very little effort.
