BSN Med/-Beiersdorf/Jobst Gauntlet, Small, 20-30 mmHg, 0.25 Pound

First of all, my heart hurts for those of you who need this for swelling and other afflictions. I purchased this because of a bad second degree burn on my hand that needed extra TLC while it healed and this glove can help prevent scarring and kept the ointment/creams I used to keep my burn moisturized through the night from evaporating. While my use was short term, here's my review.1. It took forever to get to my home. Like more than a week. I think the company selling this can get it together.2. This product is made of the material Spanx are made from. Control top on pantyhose has nothing on this product as far as compression. It did smooth out any hand fat I might have been concerned about. :-)3. It is washable. I used Fels Napthia to get the ointment out of the fibers as a wash pre-treat, then ran it in my normal laundry. I chose not to dry it in the dryer but once because most things with stretch will last longer if you air dry them.4. The fabric is soft. I struggled a little with the seams near the joints of the fingers. It pressed into that area and bruised it the first night and I had to be really careful to pull it up past the knuckle joints to keep from waking up in pain. I wish the top and thumb area was milled to be like the wrist band instead of sewn with a seam--would be significantly more comfortable.5. Jobst is the brand recommended to me by the burn tech as the best option.I'd buy it again if I had to, but hope I never have a reason to need one again.

I would recommend these to anyone who feels they need them. Definitely has helped my wrists and adds pressure where other wrist bands have not.

Way too small. I should've ordered a medium. The are already fraying. Wouldn't order again.

Just like the one I got that the mastectomy shop
