Beyond helpful
We have wild grapes extremely high in our old trees. Our new puppy experiences life through her mouth so keeping her safe is priority number one. This is a PERFECT size pen for a 10-20 lb dog or less. Ironically I’m only 5 feet tall so I can’t reach her to pick her up, so I have to enter through the door on hands and knees( thank you privacy fence). It’s very well made and priced. Our yard is completely pebbled so we worried if the stakes would hold it. They were surprisingly deep and sturdy, and many came with it. Only one bent beyond usability. We’re happy with this purchase!

Perfect for confining injured dog
This pen is fantastic! My Australian shepherd tore a ligament in her knee and has to be confined while she heals up. The pen is great. There is a tiny step when she goes through the door so I just turn the whole thing upside down to eliminate that. Works great. It takes about a minute to set it up or take it down. The panels are hooked together so you just fold it up and open it like a fan. It folds up flat about three inches and is not too heavy to move around but definitely has some heft to it. The 30" height works well. The size if the pen can be adjust simply without having to disassemble anything. The panels are heavy enough to be sturdy but light enough to be super portable. The pen would probably not be tall enough or sturdy enough if you have a large dog that climbs or jumps or would try to escape. There is an even taller version though. It comes with stakes for securing the pen outside. It would probably scoot around on a slick floor if bumped into. I have it set up on the carpeting and it doesn't budge. The panels clip together fast and it's easy to open up and walk in. The clips kind of stick out when attached, but you just have to push them flat and out of the way. Very happy with it. Exactly what I was looking for. Two-day shipping with my Amazon prime.

Great for the price, convenient, and pretty light weight
I like the fact that this pen was pretty solid quality and cheaper than the Precision brand line of pens. I like the black paint instead of the gold metal, but I only saw this pen in the 30" tall size. The pen is flexible and serves its purpose, though the one I received had a slight bend on one of the edges (don't really notice it though) and the top latch is a little more difficult to close than the bottom one as the door hangs a little at an angle. I like the option of attaching it to a crate, so the pen area is even bigger and still secure. I do wish more than three fasteners came with the pen, but a trip to Hope Depot should remedy that. Depending on your height, 30 inches may be too tall to just step over without using the door, so I would be careful if you try.

It also works great outside as it comes with some little metal fasteners ...
I purchased this when I adopted my cavalier king Charles spaniel puppy and it has been a godsend. I use it as his safe place in the house. It also works great outside as it comes with some little metal fasteners that keep it in place in the ground. Inside I put down an old flannel sheet on the floor underneath this playpen so it does not slide around when the puppy jumps at it -- which he does. I also line the bottom with little wee-wee pads and he has his bed and bowls in there. He rarely makes a fuss when I put him in there as he sees it as his space. It is particularly useful at night as he cannot hold his bladder all night and has nocturnal accidents -- this would be problem if he was crated all night -- and create a bad association for him with the crate. I plan to shift him form this setup to a create once he is able to hold his bladder for linger periods of time, but for now I could not imagine not using this. It is easy to set up and can be made bigger or smaller simply by folding together the individual metal panels. It is well constructed and lightweight, but does need something to keep it form moving around if it is used on a tile or wood floor. It also folds up flat so it can easily be stored or taken when traveling by car. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a young puppy that is not housebroken.

Perfect!
I recently adopted 2 dachshunds that came out of a puppy mill. They weren't potty trained, so I needed to crate them when we weren't there. I felt a little guilty about taking them out of a cage to put them back in one, so I did some research and came across this exercise pen. It's perfect. I love that it's adjustable and can adjust to any shape. I can make it just the size of their bed or stretch it out longer so they can play around. I love that it has an open top so they aren't so closed in, too. They probably don't care...but it makes me feel better. :-)We recently took them to the beach, and this crate was perfect. It kept them protected from other dogs on the loose, but it still let them play. At home we use bungees to attach it to the back of the doggie door, so they can go outside to go potty, but can come back inside to be in the A/C. (it's hot in texas). This also give us a little freedom so we don't have to rush home to let them out.The only thing I wish were a little better is that the brackets rust. We will eventually replace them with zip ties or another rust proof method. The gates themselves are coated, so they aren't rusting...it's just the brackets that hold the sections together. However, for the price you pay....and the very minor issue above.....this is awesome and you can't beat the price!
