Swapping out Amazon Alexa devices over to Google devices. Had Alexa devices since they came out but always liked google more so finaly kicked them to the curb. Speakers X2 and the Hub Max brings awsome sound throughout the house and the start of thereal automation of my home. Wish googles assistant was more like it's chat Ai with a personality and that would round it out.

Put a pair these in my workshop and hooked them up to wi-fi so that they wouldn't turn off everytime I went outside the shop with my phone in my pocket. We have some older Bose Sound Touch speakers in the house and have enjoyed them for several years. I did not do a side by side comparison, but to me these sound as good as or better than our Bose. I'm spending more time in the shop now.

I'm trying to get away from Alexa and move to something with a brighter future. These speakers look great, they sound good, but until Google Gemini comes to these speakers, these speakers are incredibly stupid. I'm hoping that in the next couple of months when Gem and I is going to become more available to the speakers, I'll be able to give this a better review.

These sound and work awesome.I struggled with the first speaker because my WiFi strength was not great in the location I chose. Once I figured that out, it was so simple. Now it sounds like full surround sound throughout my house.

Can't say I'm particularly thrilled with these.I spent my career as a consumer electronics specialist, particularly in high-end audio equipment. I don't expect this kind of thing to have truly great sound but have to say the sound quality of them when used as a stereo pair was quite good.Where I've been disappointed is in their use as a stereo pair rather than as single speakers. I've now had different pairs, and they both had the same problem. That problem is that they somehow lose their connection between each other and become independent speakers at random.This is particularly painful because the process of re-pairing them is not quick and easy. It requires going into Google home, removing them from their existing setups, then resetting them up from scratch and then pairing them together again.If you search the web you'll find that this is a somewhat common problem. Totally annoying because sometimes you just want to sit down and listen to music. Not have to fuss with things to get them to work.I've now had two separate sets of these, both did exactly the same thing. I give up at this point, I'm returning them and will purchase some other brand that might actually stay paired together.If all you want is a single speaker, these sound great. But they sound much better when used as a pair. Wish I could do that.

Works as expected quick shipping. Easy to set up

Half of the time you have to yell at it "Hey Google". If it functions, it functions extremely well, otherwise it will really frustrate you out.
