Better quality than the Honeywell HT900 it replaced. Well recommended!
This fan is whisper-quiet on the lowest of its three settings; it cannot be heard AT ALL at more than 3 feet away. You can hear it at a distance using the two higher settings, but it's still pretty durn quiet. The Honeywell was as loud as a giant box fan at its highest setting (after it was about two years old), that being why I ditched it. (I tried a few drops of 3-in-1 in the right places on the Honeywell's axle and it didn't help a bit; I presume the bearings were completely crunched.)Having the speed switch up front is another advantage of this Woozoo (it was on the back on the Honeywell). And the Woozoo switch dial turns smoothly; the Honeywell switch was stiff and required some torque to turn it. That, and its being on the back made the Honeywell switch quite inconvenient. Also this Woozoo tilts downward, just one click downward, but that's enough to aim it where I want … when I want it do aim down across the couch next to which it sits. The Honeywell would only tilt to the level, but not down. So I had to stick a rubber doorstop under it to get it to point downward. Also it looks like removing the front grille for cleaning will be easier/quicker on this Woozoo than it was on the Honeywell (that had six deeply recessed screw-holes that were hard to line up when re-assembling). On the Woozoo the grille is mostly held in place by four plastic grip-clips that you push in to pop off the grille. So far the only thing I don't care for about this Woozoo is the handle grip, yeah it's easy to find and all, but it just seems kind of ugly to me, jutting out like that as if it were an afterthought in the design. I don't use the handle grip on these types of fans much, so I could have done without it entirely. Oh well.In terms of power, this Woozoo is plenty powerful enough to do what I want, that being to mingle up all the cool A/C with the warm air in a 12' x 15' den/office space. But then again that task is not going to require all that much oomph. And nothing is going to push air like the original version of the Vornados … before they cheapened them up with lower amperage motors. And who wants to pay $50 for this kind of fan anyway? This Woozoo costs about $5 more than the Honeywell did (at Target), but given the aforementioned advantages I'd say that extra bit of change will be worth it. Only time will tell about the long-term quality, but my intuition is that I got a lot more quality for only a few bucks more. I've owned other IRIS products before (they make a lot of different plastic totes) and they are of higher quality than most.

Much bigger than expected!
Bought for my sons dorm room but much bigger than expected. We set it up and used it on day we moved him in but took it back home since he didn’t really have a place for it on his desk.

Some good points, some just OK.
Take into account we are in Texas, but, then, also take into account that we are long-time purchasers of extra “fan power,” for rooms that face west and get the scorching afternoon sun. Even with a top-of-the line HVAC system and unless we want to live in a cave with all drapes drawn, a little fan is a huge help, some summers. This fan claims to reach 74 feet. Well, perhaps aimed straight down a 74 foot long hallway that’s only 3 feet wide, that works, but not what we found. The unit, placed in one corner of our home theatre room (18 x 18 feet square), had to be:1) Kept on medium or high setting20 Aimed directly at the people seatedin order to have any noticeable skin-cooling effect. But, again, this is Texas, so it takes a lot to make a difference in room temperature and comfort levels. So, for our purposes, this vortex effect was counter-productive and we never got the feeling that our whole room and its occupants would be cooler via the oscillation. But the usage was OK, if we just kept the unit in place, directed to the occupants of the room.We will keep the unit, because it’s whisper quiet (low and medium settings) and can be used in a much smaller guest bedroom to cool guests and will do so quietly. I may buy another for my office, but, just know that if you’re used to a ceiling fan or another oscillating fan with the power to actually chill your skin on the high setting, this fan may not give you that.I do see how a light sleeper—we have a relative who wakes up every time the HVAC turns on—could love the quietness of the unit and find it a godsend in a bedroom, instead of using AC quite as much, through the night.Just don’t expect a 74 foot “throw” of air forceful enough to make you comb your hair again, or to have to leash Tallulah, your chihuahua, so she won’t blow away.

Perfect size and really moves air
Needed a fan for our dining room/kitchen area. This was the perfect choice as it fits below the upper cabinet and is super quiet.

Just Ok
Costco sells a similar fan which is much better quality than this. It works and oscillates but is cheaper looking than What I was hoping for.

Pedí uno negro y me enviaron uno rosa
El producto es muy bueno sin embargo, nos cambiaron el modelo que pedimos y llegó en otro color. Realmente nos urgía y ya no lo regresamos pero fuera de eso, es un producto muy bueno.
