Oh my gosh I had another shaver I haven't been using for years and struggling with. I borrowed this one from a friend and it was the bomb so I went out and bought it and I love it it does the job really good on my pony that has cushing disease I would definitely recommend it

Gets through a thick coat easily
In the past I used the big oster clippers when I needed to get through a very thick winter coat. That needed to be replaced and a friend recommend these. Great decision! Quickly cut through my cushhings horses thick coat!

Product is great; Amazon description NOT
These clippers were great. I was impressed with how easy they were to use and cut with. However, buyer be warned despite the description they do not come with a hard case. I’m not sure why Amazon doesn’t crack down on the false advertising!

Gets too hot too fast.
I’m not happy at all about this product. It gets way to hot way too fast. After one stroke on the sheep the blades got really hot I did all the pre-oil like it said let it sit before I ever used it. I had to stop every 1 to 2 strokes and let it cool down for 10+ minutes just for one sheep took over two hours. This is not ok. As far as an efficient cut, the blades cut well, you kinda have to press in a little harder than what I would like to get a clean cut. The noise level is a little loud, but not some thing I am concerned about at all. This product is not cheap at all and for me to have to spend the amount of time to keep them cool so it doesn’t harm the animals is absolutely ridiculous. It’s not efficient when working with several animals. That’s why I’m giving a 1 star. I would not buy this product again and would like to return it if I haven’t already used it.

Shearing Large Animal
Sheared entire horse,quickly, just put oil on blades every 10 minutes. Did a great job!

Incorrect description
Description states it comes with a hard case but it didn't. It came in a cardboard box only. Also, should have been new but had hair in the blades indicating it had been used. Looks like an attemot was made to clean them but the residue remained. Amazon gave me a gift card to compensate so I opted to keep the clippers, but I am disappointed to see after many reviews regarding the lack of hard case, the description has not been updated. Just to note, these clippers are loud but they do work well... even if mine were used prior to receiving. Just beware, and reach out to Amazon customer service if you have a problem with your order.

Love the Clipper, package not as advertised - No hard case
I have used these clippers for years and do love the product itself. However, the green clippers did NOT come with a hard case, I returned it once and the second item also shipped without the hard case. I left feedback that they need to correctly advertise the item. Amazon provided a small credit (not what I would have expected) for the missing hard case... but I feel that the add should be corrected or the correct item stocked.

Worth the money
Extremely happy with these. We show Gerts so she stays slick shaven. Original clippers I borrowed left tracks in the hair. These cut fast, smooth, and don’t get hot. They work so well they frequently disappear when our ag advisors have animals to clip.
