Bissell SpotBot Pet handsfree Spot and Stain Portable Deep Cleaner, Blue, 2117A

I've had the Bissell SpotBot about a month and used it several times now. I previously had a Bissell SpotClean Pet Pro. The SpotBot is more hands off. You can just place it over a soiled area, push the button and it does its magic. I have been very impressed.Personally I prefer it to the manual SpotClean. The SpotBot seems to remove the stains better than when I tried to manually do it. It runs a cycle where it alternates vacuuming, then agitating on the soiled spot. It repeats the process several times over several minutes. It has both a Deep Clean and a Quick Clean button. It still has the hose attachment so you could use it for manually cleaning as well. The circular cleaning area on the SpotBot isnt huge, but big enough for small spills. If you have a large spill you can just keep moving the SpotBot after each cleaning cycle to a different area. I've used this primarily for cleaning up cat throw up and it does a fantastic job. I literally cant even tell where the mess was after using this. Plus you can just push the button and go do something else while this is working.The machine is loud, but that is pretty much expected for this type of product. It's simple to set up the cleaning solution in the machine. You can also store the machine with leftover water and cleaning solution still in it. It was not leaking out of my product, but I would probably be wary to store this long-term with the water and cleaning solution still in it. If you know you will probably use it again within a couple weeks it is probably fine, but long term it could potentially damage the product so I would just toss it and store it empty.Overall I would absolutely recommend this machine. If you are on the fence between the SpotBot and another type of manual carpet cleaner, I would say go for the SpotBot if you prefer a more hands off approach. I personally wish I had bought this first because I find this one much easier to use with the set it and forget it functions. I'd rate this 5 out of 5 stars and a product worth considering if you need a portable carpet cleaner for small stains.

This is a solid carpet cleaning machine that works really well. I have only used this one a couple times, but I owned the exact same Bissel spot cleaning robot (earlier model) for 8 years. I only gave that one away when we replaced our carpets with hardwood floors.However, 6 years later, in another home with carpets and with dogs & small children, I needed another carpet cleaner so went with the same system. I live in a smaller home so I don't have space for an upright machine, but still wanted a system with strong suction and works well.I really like how easy it is to use and clean. Being able to plug it in, add solution, press a button and walk away is perfect. I like that this model has a quick clean option that my old one didn't have. Definitely useful as one complaint I had was needing to run a full cycle for minor messes. So far, I prefer using the quick clean mode since it's shorter, uses less solution and works great.*Tip: I like to use the hose to vacuum any excess liquid left behind by the auto bot cycle. It doesn't leave much behind, but I always get a little more out this way.There was one other "negative" about my old instrument which is that it worked too well and would leave clean spots, but that's the fault of my old, dirty carpets, hah. My current carpets are much newer and in better shape so I haven't noticed that so far, but the spots are definitely clean so I'm happy.

Where has this machine been for the past 1000 accidents? The ease of just filling it with water and solution, placing it over the spot, turning it on and watching the magic as my shoulders, neck and back are strain free is a heavenly wish come true.I have an elderly dog with Kushings who pees on the carpet multiple times a day. She goes out at least every two hours and wears diapers but it's still a never ending nightmare. All of the diapers I've tried either just slip off or leak. My golden retriever puppy is a very good girl but has had overnight emergency poop accidents, which happened the day after I received this machine.I'm so thankful that I purchased this since it's very badly needed in my house. I have the Bissell upright pet wet vacuum but it's so time consuming, lots of effort, and the cleanup of the machine afterwards is an entire production. The carpet also stays very wet for at least an entire day or more. This isn't due to lack of labor, since I vacuum the areas over and over until there isn't any liquid visibly suctioning through the intake. The cleaning solution for that machine has a very unpleasant, strong, lingering fragrance.I checked the area after cleaning with the SpotBot, and they were odor free, stain free and surprisingly not very damp. Of course I cleaned the poop by hand as much as possible first, scrubbing the residue off the carpet with spray cleaner and paper towels. The urine I dabbed up as much as I could with paper towels first. I didn't want that much residue on the scrubbing brushes of the machine so it will stay cleaner and be more effective for the next time. It's also convenient that you can leave any leftover cleaning solution in the machine for awhile so it's not wasted. Just be sure to dump the canister that has the dirty water immediately. The solution for this machine is not fragrant at all so it's much more pleasant than others I've used by Bissell. You will have to keep purchasing the Bissell solution that is made for this machine, since the manual states that you can't use any others, including anything with lemon, vinegar, pro cleaning solutions, etc., or it will damage the machine. So fair warning, you will not be able to save money by using a simple vinegar/water/soap mix.This machine is 100% better than the portable small Bissell spot cleaner that you have to manually swipe back and forth with using the hand tools and getting on the floor. I threw that machine out a long time ago since it wasn't that effective. It caused a mess since the tank holding the dirty water would leak out all over the floor from underneath. It was a hassle to use, unwieldly and clumsy, and left the carpet a soaking mess for at least a day no matter how many times you painfully swiped back and forth.

First off, i was missing some stuff from the box but amazon corrected that quickly, not a big deal. I got a puppy in December, and before his neuter, this little nugget would pee everywhere. It was BAD. I spent a solid day with this and this machine is great. Funny thing about urine, is even after you clean it, it tends to stick around; so i do intend to have the carpets professionally cleaned. But if used Immediately, you're good to go. Also i dropped some coffee on my bedroom floor and this worked great. I do suck out more water with the attachment afterwards, which it seems a lot of people dont like. But its just so easy. Im no carpet cleaner aficionado, but this is so hands free and easy. I love it. No more scrubbing.

Never thought my power outlet would be an issue so never checked given that it's advertised on Amazon.com.au. Only takes 120-volt outlet which is very much the U.S circuit. Blew the device in 30 seconds of use. Do not buy unless you have a step down voltage transformer. Bit of admin to be honest, rather look for a similar local product, most international products auto regulate 230v ~ 120v. However this is a valuable lesson for someone who is new to the international online shopping market.

Works disgustingly well... I have a grey couch and I kept a couch cover on it since I have two young kids - easier to clean but starting to get holes and not the easiest to take off.. I’ve tried hand washing my couch but not quite the same as this amazing tool. I was so grossed out to see how brown/dirty my couch really was. There were stains on the couch (soaked through from spills) that I was able to clean and you could see a major difference once the couch was dry. I cleaned my parents couch too which has never had a cover or anything on it, over 10 years old. Their couch is chocolate brown so it wasn’t as noticeable for cleanliness. I suggest cleaning the couch with the solution then once again with just water as it dries a little crusty from the soap. Overall, 100% recommend!
