I love the design and how you can adjust the angle vertically. The suction is incredible.However, this does not fit my 9500ix like it says it does. The bracket WILL go into the radar BUT will not lock into the latch. The only thing I can do with it is slide it in maybe half an inch before it doesn't want to budge anymore.

One of the better detector mounts out there. I have had one for my STI Magnum for two years, and it has yet to come off on its own accord. The Magnum is very heavy, and parked in the sun, it's possible it would let loose. But I always remove detectors when parked, anyway.This one is not made for a Uniden R1, but I couldn't find a good mount for the R1 so I bought this second one and modified it to work. My only complaint (based on use of my first one) is that the sides that the tightening bolt go through, will crack if overtightened. But it still works. It's a fine line between tightening too much, and having your detector come loose and tilt.But overall, a good product.

Works with my Escort Solo 2, 3 and 4. It has nice adjustment ability and seems to stick well. Only time will tell if it stays up.Update 07/02/19 bought 4 of them. All have stayed up for a month now.Update 07/15/19: 3 out of 4 of my mounts fit a little too tight with My Escort Solo 4 requiring me to file the metal bracket that fits into the detector.The manufacture should know this and make the bracket slightly thinner.

After installing and adjusting , I have to say this is the best after market suction mount I've purchased, and I have a few in use. Adjustment knob actually has locking positions to help keep it set a where you like it and is closely similar to Escort style .

This works great with my Escort radar detector! I placed it on my windshield about a month ago and it hasn’t moved a bit! Keeps it from giggling, the one that comes with Escort always would fall off after a while. This suction cup is so sturdy that it doesn’t move or wiggle at all, so no more falling off!

If the one you got with your device isn't holding get this one. Only time it releases is if interior gets to hot. I have one for GPS unit and one for radar detector. Both hold great traveling.

Works as intended. Don't have any issues with suction nor with installation. Can install it with or without radar mounted.Plastic does look and feel as low quality material.Will see how it last on South Florida hot weather.

Better than the OEM and ten bucks less!Really easy to install on the glass windshield. Comes with a cleaner pad and it works well. I can say its only been a couple of days but it is really stuck securely! I have the STI Magnum and it fits perfectly!
