Bio-Tech Pharmacal Lith-Oro Dietary Supplement (5mg, 100 Count)

I first started taking this supplement on the recommendation of Dr. Jonathan Wright, a pioneer in natural medicine and a world class physician. He has a great article posted on his Tahoma Clinic website that covers the various studies done on lithium and explains the benefits. I started taking Biotech lithium aspartate but switched to orotate as some think it is more effective. Either way, Bio-tech is a great company and I feel that the lithium has really helped to improve my mood and hence my life. It is a subtle change, but little things that used to bother me are taken in stride and I just have a better more positive outlook. I have always been good at losing my temper but find it happens a lot less often now. I guess it is most common to take 25 mgs a day but I currently take 10 mgs and that seems to work for me, maybe because I am small - about 120 lbs. In addition to the improved mood, I guess it can also prevents some of the usual mental decline that comes with age. Well worth the money.

My functional doctor recommended I take these because I am concerned about the alzheimers that runs in my family and I already have a lot of forgetful moments at age 51. I don't know if it is the placebo affect or not but I swear I can recall things better. I think the actual use is supposed to help with brain inflammation.

While I wouldn't call this lithium orotate the best ever, it's close enough to be very valuable/worth buying at a decent price point, esp. when other makers would sell less than 100 per bottle. I had a practicing doctor years ago who sold many supplements. This was among the brands he sold.

Very good product. This brand has no stearic acid or other ingredients to help the capsule machinery perform better.

Does just what it should

It's very difficult for me to tell how some nutritional products perform. I'm taking this because it was recommended to help other nutrients get into my cells -- B12, for example. I haven't had a new blood test so don't know how it's doing for sure. But, it seems fine and I've been feeling just a bit better.
