Best Value Rack
After searching and comparing for weeks, we settled on this one. Criteria included; pull up bar, solid steel chrome (not painted) spotter bars, more than 1 pair of bar holders, elevated cross bar at the rear (prevent tripping). Two extremely well packed boxes. No scratches or chips at all. Very unusual experience for so many metal parts. Rack went together easily. We use it daily and have no complaints at all.Only Negative: It is painted a grey color. would look sharper if it were white or black but it is fine as an industrial grey. Used all the hardware (no spare pieces at all but also not necessary). Included a little bottle of touch up paint. We will not likely stress this rack as a more serious lifter may. This is working great for 3 of us in the 6 ft to 6 ft 3" size. Doesnt move at all. The pull up bar is solid and high enough to work well.Looked at the Powertech but couldnt justify the $ particularly the $100 + for shipping.

So packaging could be better. However
The rack had some stickers that got beat up during shipment. So packaging could be better. However, it was easy to assemble, is well built and solid. No play or "creaking" when being abused. On this, I also used an impact to torque down hardware.I do plan on anchoring mine to the floor, so wish it had mounting holes already. But this isn't necessary, it's sterdy by itself. It's a good size, plenty of room and yet it doesn't take up an incredible amount of space.Pull up bar is solid, but if you like to do really wide pull ups, you are limited. We also purchased the lat pull down attachment. This is also a great addition and built well. Easy assembly. I purchase the Olympic sleeve adapters because it has standard 1" weight holders. The Lat pull down bar that it comes with works and will get the job down for most home users. But it's kind of cheap feeling and narrow. I plan on purchasing Valors 48" solid pull down bar.Overall, I'm very satisfied with the quality, price, and bang for the buck.Perfect addition for a home gym. Also to note, I've been waiting for my heavy bag stand to come in. Since this came in first, I could help but to hang my 80lbs bag from it.Even with the bag swinging, this had no problem. I was limited on foot work, but if you don't have any alternative, it worked.

For what it is, and the quality, I'd buy it again, but a few changes..
The cable crossovers need improvement. They do not operate freely no matter how they are adjusted. Suggest they spend the extra for actual linear bearings for the dual post set up on each crossover cable. It would be worth the minor price increase and people would definitely buy this product. Especially if advertised with linear bearings. The square lat pulldown/row attachment uses a square tube with only plastic but when loaded works smoothly. Almost as good as linear bearings.Overall construction is great. Very sturdy. Knurling is a bit rough on the lat pull down and chin up bars but maybe with a bit of usage that will wear down a bit. I by no means have soft hands either.

Extremely sturdy. Assembly was rather tedious
I do pull-ups on this thing regularly and it never shakes. Extremely sturdy. Assembly was rather tedious, but, I mean it is what it is. This is a large structure, so it's going to take some effort to piece it together. If mine mysteriously disappeared, I would buy this exact unit again (albeit with the cable add-on this time). The only downside is that the pull-up bar is UNGODLY rough. I've lifted my whole life and had callouses on my hand since I was in high school, so I'm used to that sort of thing, but ffs this was brutal. However, I just watched a video on YouTube for possible cover solutions, so I bought some hockey stick tape, wrapped it around, and now it feels great.

Overall a very good value
You can spend a lot more money on power racks but I'm not sure what they will get you. This is definitely a very good value and probably everything the average home gym needs. I am happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone; however, I do have a few comments. The product comes packed in two boxes. Overall it is well boxed; however, the only protective packaging inside are plastic bags. There is no foam in the event these boxes get dropped. My boxes were pretty beat up and several of the pieces had chipped paint. One of the weight support bars was bent but it was easily fixed. Again, I don't find this to be a big issue but I think the packaging could be improved a little. I plan to ask the manufacturer for some touchup paint. The unit is solid and very stable although it's not commercial grade so you can't expect to be throwing weights around. It moves a little but nothing major and if you really wanted you could brace this with little effort and it would never budge. This is one of the few units that will fit in a basement due to the height. In a normal basement it will still be a little difficult to do pull ups. I'm thinking about turning the top support bar upside down to lower it. It would probably be better just to have that go across the top like the BD7.I like the fact that they give you extra weight support bars (pegs) but I'm not crazy about the design. It's nice they lock into place but the major problem is they don't have any backing to keep the weight bar from banging into the rack. Most of the better support bars are designed so they also protect the rack (more like a j cup style).I also would like to have some weight pegs to store weights on. I realize they have this on the BD7 but that rack seems not have a whole lot of depth in it. This is something that can be purchased and added so it's not a problem. If you want to spend twice as much money and get a really good product I'd think about going with Rogue. They have great units with all of the right accessories. Just be careful as I think a lot of the Rogue units are designed to be bolted to the floor.
